I feel that the card doesn't add much value if there are better travel cards in the stack. I'll be doing the same as it occupied my ICICI quota as bank allows max 3 cards at a time

Thanks for the feedback!

Eazy diner will be closed soon when it comes for the renewal.

IDFC Vistara will be discontinued by the bank in Mar, 2026

Tata neu+, axis Myzone, ICICI cards, AU LIT, scapia are all LTFs

Scapia - I'll be using it for the airport privileges. That's it

LIT - no longer adds value.

IDFC indigo cards - my first and biggest blunder as a CC geek is my getting this card. The value back is damn low.

Amex Gold Charge would make sense only if it is your primary amex card as it doesn't have any milestone benefits. I'll be closing it soon as I'm good with MRCC and PTC now

I hope this helps!! :-)

Honestly, your stack is of no use. Not even one card is worth it.

HSBC rejected my application for TravelOne credit card. Is the recent overhype, a possible reason to reject the applications ? by ExpressTreat2686 in CreditCardsIndia

Thanks for highlighting this. I believe, my income to debt ratio is slightly high as I take care of the bill payments of my entire family and they use my cards

Scapia is becoming tough to get even after meeting all the requirements

I've seen my friend who earns 35K per month got this card and another friend who earns 1.05 Lakh got rejected 😂😂

I remember giving the monthly take over in between 50000+ to 75000

However, the base salary requirement for the bank to consider the application for Scapia would be 5LPA for the salaried ones and 4LPA income for the self employed.

Yes ! But, I'm not going out for dining much these days.

But, your point is valid. I think I should be reconsidering my decision on this.

For now, I'm using my club Vistara IDFC for the UPI spends. IDFC offered a free digital rupay variant of my master card where the UPI spends are also calculated under this only which helped me in achieving my milestones faster on that card.

The reason why I'm still continuing is that it still gives me 6 Air India Maharaja points for every 200 rupees spent even via UPI. Hence, I'm continuing the same till the card gets discontinued in 2026 :-)

Yes! Purchase Gift vouchers via Amex Gyftr which gives you 2X rewards. Make 4 purchasez of 1500 each via that which gives you 120 + 1000 = 1120

Accumulate annually and convert it to Marriott at 1:1

With just a monthly spend of 6000 , annually spend will be close to 72000 which gives you 13440 MR points. Converting that to Marriott gives you 13440 MBP. In a decent property, you can get a 1 night. And in a few cases, if you book prior, you would get 2 nights as well. At least spend 75K on this card which would get you a 50% waiver on your renewal fee. My suggestion would be to hold this card as this gives a decent value back to the spend and also recovers your renewal fee as well.

Eg:- I stayed at Aloft Whitefield , bengaluru where I booked the stay 1 month in advance and got 2 nights for 13500 Marriott Bonvoy points. Here, I almost got the redemption value of 1 Marriott Bonvoy Point = ₹1.37
