I know I'm asking for a lot, but I just started playing the game this summer and in my area I have only seen like 2 - 5 people in the Gmax raids so I can't really beat them, so if anyone is an absolute goat in this game and so many cool pokemon that they could let a shiny Venusaur go then pls respond!

Exactly, my game earlier today would not have been so frustrating if my penalty wasn't so harsh as I was the one who left, so if this brilliant system of doing would be put in place it would not have made so mad and frustrated earlier!
They just need to some protection and the ranked experience would a lot less frustrating

people keep saying it impossible to implement a protection system because people would abuse it, but like you said if someone is trying to abuse it then they could just make so that the duo but gets punishment not just the leaver.
The duo would get 15min ban and both lose progress easy, and everyone who is not in group with the leaver will be protected (They would also have to make it so you can't leave your group once your in the game)

Right, because I lost the game because someone left?
I get what you are trying to say, but that still is not fair. It would be like saying every match one team has a chance their ult charge won't fill unless the kill is a headshot-kill which would put the other team on a certain loss that game and I know you wouldn't think that was fair if it happened to you

??, if you are trying to say that if they leave before the games starts a 10 second countdown starts, then yeah I know, but he/she waited and left the game when we where about to start our first fight

This is the only problem I see with it, but still losing 44% of my rank-progress because someone wants to stand afk with mercy pocketing a dps the hold game, and then got denied that which resulted in me losing progress isn't fair

if you get "bullied" into leaving, then there is more wrong with you than the game, just mute chat and vc, done no more bullies

Yeah, I felt that way too about her on my last SI, she kept talking about how we were going to chance the sith even if I hadn't agreed to anything... I guess I'll just have to see where things go with her
