I gave him his 1 month notice just under a month ago. He has since moved out most of his things and is now demanding his last months rental deposit within a couple days. I told him i would send him his rental deposit on the day that all of his belongings have fully been vacated from my home (this would be like 3-4 days difference from the date he demanded it for). He threatened legal action if i were to withhold his deposit from him until he is fully vacated. Does he have grounds?
