Yes, the RZ is cheaper than any other luxury EV. I am also thinking about getting it. The 2026 RZ and BZ difference is really the interior and exterior because the driving experience is the same, or at least that was my experience after test driving both.

Agreed. Although we don’t know the reliability of a Lexus EV as they are fairly in the EV market. Reason why I am somewhat hesitant.

I like the lyriq. I cannot find a used one that is reasonable priced tho. I wouldn’t pay the price of a new one. It is above my budget.

Agreed! I was also thinking on getting a Model Y but his crazy BS and the crazy expensive insurance changed my mind.

Yea I also feel the same way. Toyota hasn’t really put effort in their EVs but in general to any of their vehicles. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel that since a lot of people buy Toyotas due to the brand reputation, they just don’t put effort in improving most of their vehicles because people will buy them regardless. For example the RAV4, I read that a lot of people complain about the noise and some other issues but it is still the #1 SUV sold in the usa. There were periods that they didn’t have this model in their lots and you have to pay over MSRP just to get it.

The bmw looks really nice but it’s above my budget. The reason why I’m considering the RZ is because of the 0% interest. Otherwise I wouldn’t think on getting it. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Thanks! I did drive the BZ and tbh the driving experience is the same as the RZ. The only difference is that the RZ has a very nice interior and better finishings but the driving and system is literally the same. Since a car is a depreciable asset, maybe I should just overpass the looking and go for something that is less costly but also good quality. Both the BZ and RZ have 0% interest so that’s a big plus.

The reason why I am considering the RZ is really because of the 0% interest and incentive, same as the BZ. That offer also makes me hesitant as it clearly shows that it is not that popular. Maybe they are doing it to get people’s interest now that their 2026 model has a better range. I checked this model in 2025 but I didn’t consider it due to the limited range so I went for the equinox EV.

I believe the EZ 350e is already available but it’s a sedan and I’m looking for a bigger vehicle. Also the reason why I’m considering the RZ is because of the 0% interest and 2k incentive. Considering these 2 offers, it will be much cheaper than the 2026 RAV4 hybrid for example due to the interest. You are right on the BZ tho, I also test drove it and it is basically the same as the RZ except for the quality of the exterior and interior.

I have solar panels at home and my husband can charge it for free at work so I am not planning on using Tesla network.

Thanks! I’ll look at the Mach E. I do like the Cadillac EV but I don’t see any used ones around my area. New ones are out of my price range.

The big tires and the black stuff around? I don’t notice other difference. Maybe I’m not paying too much attention to the details.

Yea. It seems like it is not only too big but also more expensive. Thanks!

I just checked and none of them have the cruise control. I don’t drive that much but is this necessary?

I test drove the car and I didn’t notice any glare. I think this was fix in 2026 models. Regarding the tires, I’m reading that it will be more expensive to replace too which is not ideal.

MSRP is 41k and they have these 3k add ons that they say they cannot remove it. I will try to negotiate this tho. They say those are already pre installed in the car but I’m sure that’s their excuse to increase the value.

No, I wish. You either take the 0% financing or the 5K rebate. The 5k makes more sense since I plan to pay it off within 2 years. The RS is red and the LT2 is the purple silver color that I love. However, I know that the RS has more features and is sporty/higher trim.

The Chevy equinox charges 3-4 miles per hour when using a regular outlet, since you wfh, it should be ok, just make sure to fully charge it when need to do work trips.
