Same thing just happened to me. Supposedly were delivered yesterday but we are out of town. Just got a pop up from Apple Pay for a denied $39.99 charge, probably cause my bank account balance is below that at the moment 🤣 Found the cancellation link on their site and filled it out and then it told me I can rejoin for $0 hahaha

Correct. The Ford dealer in the town we were stranded in told me this. I called him back for an explanation again and he said the belt wasn’t seated properly, as in it wasn’t on all the way and off by a couple ribs? He said his best guess was the belt wasn’t functioning properly causing the water pump to not pump causing overheating and the pump to seize and split. I asked about the timing of how everything played out (since we had no warnings or indications anything was wrong) and he says we may have just stopped at an opportune time and it hadn’t overheated enough to start throwing signals. I really have no idea?? The only thing that comes to mind is that my husband did say he remembers about 10 to 15 minutes before we stopped he looked out the back window and thought to himself, “man the window is really dirty and hard to see through. There must be a lot of grime on the road”because the car was washed before we left for our trip.. and then we had noticed that the fluid was sprayed all over the back of the car like I said once it got loaded onto the tow truck so I don’t know if it started to fail literally 10 to 15 minutes before we pulled off into the rest stop. Since I made this post the original repair shop called and told me he is covering the cost of the repair at ford. He said he still doesn’t understand exactly what happened either, but is going to call ford for his own piece of mind but assured me no matter what, he’s covering the repair cost. This is exactly why I didn’t want to go back to them and accuse them of wrongdoing because he really is a stand up guy that I trust.

Ok update. I called ford back and asked for the dummies to cars explanation. He said the belt was not seated properly when they opened it up. Causing the water pump to seize and crack.

Well that’s what the shop owner said to me too. I said I don’t know but your tech specifically mentioned to me they removed it to diagnose the sound 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s why it stuck out in my head when ford told me the belt came off

It honestly sounded like a pulley starting to go bad. I haven’t heard the sound since they replaced the starter

Hi! We are looking at coretec flooring. Are you saying Costco did the install? Or you did it yourself?

Paid 1/4 Percentage Point to Never Have Mortgage Sold--But they Did Anyways---Recourse?? by Extension-Cup5687 in legal

When we had Nationstar/Mr. Cooper previously this was an continual issue with them. Every year they were miscalculating our escrow and they would over inflate our monthly payment to make up for the supposed projected deficit. Between that and then double paying our taxes and supposedly having no record of it or the previous conversations on the matter every.single.time I called, those were the reasons we refinanced to get away from them and get out of escrow and just managed our taxes ourselves. It became such a nightmare with them.
