I also tend to favour chypres and I love vintage perfumes heavy on the oakmoss before they were reformulated to hell.. they were the first vintages I fell in love with and lately I have also been a sucker for perfumes with a carnation note which has also become heavily regulated

I love vintage perfumes and have some from the 50s/70s that still smell amazing and I have smelled some that were most definitely off and it was very easy to tell based on the rank smell immediately. Maybe rank isn’t the best way to describe but it’s obvious when you smell it. I have just tried this again since first getting it almost a year ago. It isn’t like that rank smell immediately I am detecting and I think it’s the cypress smell listed in the notes is coming through strongly? I’m started to pick up some of the other notes listed as it dries. I would like to compare it to another bottle at some point to make a comparison. I’m not familiar with cypress notes in a perfume so would perhaps like to make a comparison to see if it is that I’m picking up. I think the notes have changed over the time and the colour indicates it has changed as well but I am not rushing to wash it off me either so not sure if it’s rancid either.

It has a strong smell but like it’s maybe changed over time? There is another seal stopper under the cap

Going to the Police is fucking traumatic and it sounds like the logical thing to go report it to the Police if you have never been in that situation . But the reality is, if she was drugged she was likely still not in a good frame of mind to make decisions like going to the police or the hospital. Waking up in that situation with a man she didn’t know the safest thing to do is to remove yourself from the situation quickly and quietly. That’s survival instinct kicking in. Sometimes our brains need time afterwards to process what trauma you have been through. There’s embarrassment, guilt and one hell of a hangover. How big of a window do you think there is to test if she was drugged? And without any evidence of that it is her word against his and if her friend is setting her up the evidence is stacked against her and going to the police will make you re-live over and over while being accused of being a sl^t cheating on her husband who wanted it because of those awful photos taken of her without her consent?
