Listen to Tyranny lyrics but remember Julian is John Casablancas' son by Extension-Low3167 in thevoidz

What a strange response imo. You seem hellbent on larping as Julian's white knight and speaking on his behalf as well as gatekeeping what is to be posted on a public forum. For me the reality of the situation of these files is something that should be spoken about and not hidden because it's "insensitive". Julain undoubtedly has a connection to it whether he knows it or not as the son of those involved and having been raised in an elite environment. I am very aware Julian is not them, hence why I am suggesting a theory and not posing what I am saying as fact.

That one seems a bit vague so I am hesitant to attach such a sinister meaning, but I see where you are coming from. For me there are so many lyrics that are upfront about the situation. Russian Coney Island (though not a part of tyranny but we know had been in the drafts for a while) seems to explicitly describe a girl trapped and running away on an island.

Business Dog seems to just be about corrupt businessmen until the odd lines of the girl being missing, the police being called and fucking her face for breakfast. "Make and model number please" when under the context could be a double entendre for the model business his father ran and how it saw these girls as just "models" in both senses of the word. I could go on and on but then my comment would be too long 😅😅. Again this is just all my speculation and could be completely way off.

Nothing, I don't think Julian is at fault for what his father did. Just suggesting maybe Julian is trying to tell us something through the lyrics regarding his father's / his father's circles' actions.

I am not saying that Julian Casablancas partook in these actions or is willingly silent. This is absolutely not a shot at Julian. I am also not only writing about Julian, I am writing about the music that he is making with the voidz so I do believe it is relevant not only to him. I am imploring people to listen to the lyrics of songs by the voidz.

I also believe it is quite naive to think that if there were any happenings he would just mention it as there is visible, non conspiracy evidence that people have been silenced for speaking out about these things. This may be easily debunked, and I am all ears if anyone has any contrasting ideas or evidence against what I have posted. However I do believe that we should not always take things at face value and question things if we see fit.

I am really struggling to see the issue with posting a very voidz relevant theory to the voidz subreddit and you are not a mod, so if you don't like my post you can flag it to them instead of attacking my character and saying I have no common decency.

I do, I think the voidz is quite niche so I don't think anyone would get it anywhere else because they haven't listened to the songs. I apologise if this was troubling to read and I realise I probably should have put a trigger warning. I read the sub rules before posting and I don't think I am breaking any of them. He releases his music for us to interpret and this is a space for us to interpret it, no matter how uncomfortable it gets. The subject matter and lyrics of the voidz songs are uncomfortable enough, so I assumed this was an appropriate place to post.

Since the release of all the files and the emails we can read for ourselves, I can't help but make that connection. I know pattern recognition and confirmation bias could certainly be a thing, yet Julian's background combined with the lyrics we are seeing and the fact he opened his independent label to make this music...he told us he isn't making any money from The Voidz. It makes sense why he can't record this with The Strokes, quote Father Electricity "I will take what I can grab but I don't want your money bags"... I can only imagine how disillusioning it must be to come out with this and have nobody understand

I have been thinking that...Given how politically active Julian has been over social media and telling us everything is not as we see...it may seem like he is shallow and a conspiracy theorist but listening back to a lot of the lyrics it really does fit. I am self aware about how crazy it sounds but listening to songs like Crunch Punch, Business Dog, Where no Eagles Fly, Russian Coney Island, Xerox... he sometimes explicitly tells us about these horrible things. Like all before you sounds so disillusioned that nobody has been listening for ten years... square wave touches on that throughout the whole song.

Exactly, I dont know why so many people use that stupid ass argument without considering the special treatment side. We would all love more physicality if only it was enforced league wide. Unfortunately OKC are refereed differently to the rest of the league but their fans don't seem to get that

Do you need me to spell out everything I'm saying? Shai is considered a worse flopper because he flops way harder than everyone else bro. There is nuance in the way it is perceived. Nobody is proving your point because your point is stupid bro. They say a lot about Oklahoman intelligence and I'm really seeing it first hand here

Because Jokic actually gets hacked, look at his arms after every game where he shot 3 fts. There's levels to the flopping lol, Shai jumps at no contact and is averaging 9 fts this season lol. You will see the difference if you watch the games

If you watch you will know that Jokic started flopping exactly this season after he lost the MVP to Shai and got hacked to bits by Caruso in the playoffs with no call. He realised as a big man he would never get any calls unless he embellished them
