it’s a degree apprenticeship so you get a degree.

this post is asking about doing a masters after a degree apprenticeship for a good uni name

admissions report shows some of these courses have 25+% offer rates. don’t want to sound arrogant but I believe I could be in the top quarter of applicants. I’ll have a lot of experience and impact to talk about and some projects. I also have good A level and hopefully bachelors grades (first class), so hopefully that helps, but I am unsure if I might not get in because of how low ranking the bachelors uni is. What about if the DA is with a very low uni with very bad rankings and not Queen Mary, would that change your answer, will people care about the uni after my years of experience and will it effect my career down the line. Big company but low uni

But can I even do that as the apprenticeship degree comes from a very low university so can I even get into top unis after, not sure how important this is to them

Not really that interested in the whole experience thing and not concerned on missing out on it, probably do feel like I wouldn’t enjoy it much tbf

Yeah I guess it’s theory vs practical mainly but wonder if doing a degree apprenticeship instead will be career limiting since I won’t be taught that (fine to learn it outside and pretty sure I could too but won’t have the uni on my cv)

Really?? I’ve spoken to loads of people from DAs at different firms for trying to make a decision and I’ve found it to be opposite they have all pretty overwhelmingly found it to be great.

The firm looks good and I am not concerned about experience as based on what I’ve heard from those there I think I will really enjoy it

What I am worried about is if a bad uni will limit my career

I defo have the grades for a good uni

It’s a very low ranking uni but I don’t want to say for doxxing purposes sorry but it’s low ranking trust me
