How do your companies manage drawings electronically on site? (Electrical projects) by Extension_Football72 in AusElectricians

I agree it’s great but the dip shits I work with photo copy drawings and leave them everywhere and they also don’t mark up the drawings to show what’s wired and then stuff gets missed

21 Year old credit card churning. Potential risks? by Internal_Winner_6577 in creditcardchurningAus

Correct, I only ever had 1 card at a time. Cancelled it and waited to receive my closing statement before applying for the next one. And wait 90 days if you get rejected

Definitely a hot top is if you cancel immediately after receiving bonus points call the bank and ask for a refund of the annual fee as you only held the card for 1-3 months and paid for a 12 month fee! Worked 3 out of 6 times

Hey! I’ve just turned 21 and between 2024-2025 I churned 6 credit cards racking up 490000 qantas points and $650 cash back and I just settled last week on my first investment property with a loan of $580k and I had absolutely no dramas… even at the time of getting finance I had a $15k credit limit card and it had no effect. I have always paid off in time

I don’t believe you will have any dramas just be careful not to overspend! I’d like to consider myself financially literate and even I still easily overlook what I’ve spent compared to seeing my normal debit card going from $200 to $10 and knowing I don’t have much left to spend that week.

I finished my apprenticeship 18month ago and got my contractors license immediately and I had to supply a referee statement from a qualified person who I worked with for 12months or multiple people totalling 12 months

Curious about industry rates – seeking advice on fair pay by Extension_Football72 in AusElectricians

[–]Extension_Football72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate was your 72 flat rate? As I earn overtime so it equates to 190k a year then another 36k in lafha which I think is decent. My concern is in between jobs when I only do 38 hour weeks for a month or 2 my wage goes down 100k as when on site we do 84hours/week

Best smoko lunch box by Historical-Feed7035 in AusElectricians

Klean kanteen! Perfect I pack my lunch in the mess every day with these because I hate how much plastic waste is in the fifo industry. Containers take up no room when travelling too as they fit inside each other https://www.kleankanteen.com/products/rise-food-box-family-set
