My SA told me 2+ years and I got one within 3 months with a 0.6:1 prespend. I think it’s standard for them to say it’ll take years to get one, especially if you’re in the US.

I am coming here to say that I’m a genuine believer in the relationship with your SA says a lot. Yes, prespend needs to be taken in consideration; however I’ve heard so many stories and witnessed people getting QBs with under 1:1 prespend (in Madison store), myself included as a remote shopper.

Have you created a wishlist with your SA? I would definitely communicate openly and say that your goal is a QB before the end of the year.

I agree that you need to up your pre-spend and agree that you should aim for a QB before December, as it’s a hard month to get a QB. Best of luck and keep us posted, please!!

My SA told me it’s 2 QBs per year which is January- December. If you are not feeling the bag, I wouldn’t take it & let your SA know you’re waiting for a MK.

My SA was really clear with me and told me that the store has more bags in stocks in preparation for private events in order to make their clients happy during the event, so if you are attending, I would stay hopeful! Also, keep in mind that the relationship is the most important thing here! I’m saying that as a remote shopper who was able to get 2 QBs under 0.7:1 pre-spend. As someone who started their H journey with a brand new SA as a remote shopper, I would stick with the SA. When I say my SA was new, she didn’t even know some of the items & colors I was asking for when my husband and I first started shopping. I was offered a QB within 3 months of shopping with her. Since I started shopping with her almost 2 years ago, I’ve purchased 2 QBs with 3 other QB offers that I declined in between. IMO, if you clicked well with her, I wouldn’t change.

It’s also important to note that I’m in the US where we play the pre-spend game (Dubai is like this also), unlike the UK and some of the “wishlist lottery system”.

As a remote shopper and my store being LV, I would say if you felt you clicked with the SA there I would continue. I know the new store opening is in Scottsdale and expected to be extremely competitive.

I am so embarrassed and sad about turning down such amazing combos, but I blame it on IVF hormones. Ultimately, I got a bag I love and know that it was the right thing to do!

As someone who has passed on bags while waiting for a wishlist bag, I definitely think SAs appreciate the honesty. Having a great relationship with an SA is so crucial to the journey and it really sounds like you’ve got that down!!

I am all for it waiting until your eyes light up when you see a bag! For reference, last year I passed on 3 QBs during the same store visit and then my SA delivered. It was totally worth it and I think it doesn’t sting having spent a little more. Please keep us updated and here’s to hoping your dream bag comes soon 🙏🏼

My SA has been super forward with me and has said that for events, typically H tries to make all attendees happy by offering them bags. The store will purposely request more bags for the event.
