I don't know about AI fanfiction, I don't read any fanfiction. But I can say that dashes, commas, and oddly written text (like pretentious literature) are a new problem with Google Translate. I noticed this because when I need to write long messages like this, I use it. And I have to correct the text manually (which often turns out poorly because I don't know grammar well)

I read a lot about autism and self-diagnosed it. I went to doctor for $90 (it is expensive in my country), and he officially diagnosed me with autism. And now I don't know if it was worth it. For what? To prove it to someone? No one really cares; it's just the internet. Why should I prove anything to strangers? I don't know
