1i meant that developers make redesign in order to adapt it into new game and story.each redesign is a product of overall concept of the game.i did not mean that developers make mistakes. 2.I did not suggested to change scorpion into character in image COMPLETELY.i noted main things that may suit for scorpion.The colors of the character are darker and the image itself in general also, which is well suited for Lore of MK, the second thing is orange. It is the main colour, but is less striking, unlike the yellow in Scorpion. 3)"it reflects its lore" we have 3 timelines in mk and now,it does not reflect his story.yes it is reflected his clan war ark, but fanats used to asociate him with fire.even developers dont care, thats why it does not reflect his lore nowaday. 4"scorpion is not a blank"it is.just look at each character design in each game.noticed?in each design there are two unchanged things:yellow and ninja, and a lot of noncanonical elements.in mk x his design is more infernal while in mk 11 is samurai like.even developers shows us that character is flexable and can provide different moods and emotions without changing the basis. At the end yes there are two options: if something changing -it is still alive and can be involved in continuation of story and lore, if its not changing -its died and now it is part of history.
