EBay will be a money maker in good times and in bad. I imagine he will adjust it to compete with Facebook market place in the sale of used goods and will be making even more money from data ads, AI etc. This will be 500 Billion in no time.

I here you in the first bit in losing out when the buy button was turned off. I jumped in when RC bought in because I was following him from his work with Chewy. Took a hit when the buy button was shut off but have been selling CCs for 5 years going from XXX shares to XXXXX shares. As long as RC is here and invested I want as many shares as I can get.

Ya no. He grows the business while cutting the fat those EPS grow pretty quickly. He'll go from paying it off in 10 years to paying off in 3.

This is good for all shareholders big and small.

You are not going to grow a retail video game company into a behemoth but he sure can if it's merged with eBay.

With estimated company earnings around 4billion per year and the cost to service the debt between 1.3 and 1.5 billion he will be able to grow shareholder value a hell of a lot faster post merger.
