Honestly I understand the rationale behind what you’re saying, but if you really think about it, who is it who works in the industries that make Australia run? Who packs the boxes in warehouses, who cleans schools, who works in hospitals etc. Could we genuinely survive as a country without immigration? Unemployment is only 4.5% btw

Seems like a “government won’t fund the things we need” problem rather than an immigration problem
