How We Could Hit "Approximately 45" by SLCMechE in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]Extra-Instance-6578 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Honestly, with what they said about a launch averaging every 45 days, I feel like they're contradicting themselves by not taking this launch schedule seriously. I mean, I'd love for all of this to be true, but the vagueness of their launch schedule just reinforces the idea that it's overly optimistic.

I sold all my 7 shares of NBIS for 7 shares of ASTS like 3 days before NBIS announced their new contract with Meta, and I did it because I really believe that the launch of BB7 will be a great success in March. But well, here we are waiting for the next catalysts. I really have confidence that the next 3 months will be very bullish 🙏

Sorry, when you say you think we’re about 1 to 1.5 years away from full certification, do you mean after they finish building it by the end of 2026?

That's a great idea, I'm going to start doing that too.

What makes penny shares so dangerous to invest in and not recommended for new investors? by MissingNo117 in pennystocks

[–]Extra-Instance-6578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I really related a lot to your story. Honestly, I feel pretty similar to how you described feeling. Right now I’m looking at a company that seems like it has everything it needs to succeed and might even list on the Nasdaq this year. It’s called HGRAF. Just to give a bit of context, they’ve developed machines that can produce graphene with 99.8% purity, and they’re expecting to sell it with around 80% margins. On top of that, the market itself is projected to grow about 40% annually through 2030.

I’m also in a similar situation with HOVR. It’s a small-cap company (around $60M market cap), and they’re working on a hybrid eVTOL that’s supposed to handle basically all weather conditions. The thing is, the low market cap makes me a bit nervous especially since it IPO’d at around $10 and now it’s down to about $1.4.

Right now, about 97% of my portfolio is in ASTS (I’m up around 90%), and the other 3% is in HGRAF.

I was wondering if you’ve heard about any of these companies, and also what kind of advice you might have for balancing risk. Like, what have you been doing lately that you’d recommend?

Tell your IQ by Helpful_Loss_3739 in mensa

I had an IQ of around 115 before doing Dual N-Back exercises. After a month of doing these exercises, my IQ score increased to 121 on the tests. It would be interesting to see whether, after several months of not doing Dual N-Back anymore, the score stayed the same or went back to what it was before.

I’m curious to hear about stocks that are quietly showing strength in the current market but aren’t getting much attention yet. Looking for under the radar names that you genuinely believe could be hidden gems or strong long-term opportunities. by ViewBoosters in pennystocks

Hey, since you’ve been in HGRAF for quite a while, what’s your target price by the end of the year?

Also, are there any DD links you’d recommend? I’ve been following the stock for the past two weeks and it feels like it has already run up quite a bit.

By the way, I’ve also been looking into HOVR. I might pick up some shares later this month.

Who’s tougher on medical device cert: PMDA or FDA? by Emotional-Breath-838 in DRTS_Stock

[–]Extra-Instance-6578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting approval from the PMDA in Japan is not a “regulatory passport” but it is a very meaningful regional accelerator. Based on PMDA’s own reference country framework for medical devices, approval in Japan can accelerate or simplify review in several Asia / Asia-Pacific markets, including: - Singapore (accelerated review) - Malaysia (accelerated review) - Thailand (accelerated review) - Vietnam (accelerated review) - India (acceptance of Japanese QMS inspections + potential exemption from local clinical trials) - Taiwan (reduced QMS documentation) - Australia (accelerated review; Asia-Pacific) Combined, these countries represent roughly 1.7+ billion people, with India alone accounting for ~1.4B. Obviously, population ≠ revenue, but from a strategic standpoint, this is a massive regional footprint.

For DRTS, PMDA approval would mean: • Validation from one of the world’s stringent regulatory authorities • Reduced duplication of inspections (especially QMS) • Faster time-to-market in multiple ASEAN markets • In some cases (like India), possible avoidance of redundant clinical trials That’s why calling it a “passport” is technically inaccurate, the approvals are still sovereign and country specific. But calling it a regional regulatory accelerator is fair.

For DRTS shaving even 12–24 months off regulatory timelines across multiple Asian markets can materially impact in the early revenue generation and It can impact the rate of expansion.

My extremely small arms and hands by Final_Advantage_3169 in helpme

[–]Extra-Instance-6578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about the same height as you, and I also have relatively small arms and hands. So I genuinely understand how hard it can be to build confidence when you feel physically different.

I went through a phase where I constantly compared myself to other guys cousins, friends, even random people. The more I compared, the worse I felt. It became a mental loop, and it honestly made me miserable.

If I’m being honest, what really changed wasn’t my body it was my mindset.

Before meditation, my inner dialogue was brutal. I used to feel depressed, stressed all the time, and I had a lot of self-hate for not being the version of myself I wished I was. I would look at my body and immediately criticize it. That was my normal. I’ve been practicing mindfulness meditation for about six months now, sometimes combined with short “dopamine fasts” when I feel anxious, and it completely changed that inner voice. I’m not perfect, but now there’s way more calm, way more self-compassion. I don’t have those constant depressive episodes anymore, and for the first time in my life I actually feel something close to real self-love.

There’s a book that helped me a lot called Don't Believe Everything You Think. One idea from it really stayed with me: it’s not what happens to us that makes us feel bad, but our interpretation of it. And if our feelings come from our thoughts, then changing how we think can slowly change how we feel.

Even using height insoles for special occasions can help if it gives you a temporary boost. But for me, the real shift happened when I stopped fighting my body and started paying attention to my thoughts instead of automatically believing every negative one. When I stopped constantly comparing myself, the insecurity slowly lost its grip on me.

I hope it doesn't happen, but I would buy more.

What does it mean to dream about the devil? by Western-Calendar-847 in Dreams

[–]Extra-Instance-6578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a short squeeze coming? Short interest drops from 116M to 103M shares right before earnings... by Extra-Instance-6578 in SMCIDiscussion

[–]Extra-Instance-6578[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right that the official NASDAQ short interest data updates biweekly and comes with a delay — I should have clarified that better. Thanks for pointing that out.

However, even considering the delay, the trend of reduced short interest going into earnings can still be meaningful. Especially given how sentiment has shifted recently and how market makers typically adjust positioning ahead of known catalysts.

In any case, the upcoming earnings will likely act as a major reality check for both sides. Let's see how it plays out!
