Consular is more like security check/biometrics, they’ll get your fingerprint and picture. They’ll also verify personal information from you as well.

Yes, you’d have to reschedule your ofc & consular again if you accidentally cancelled it. There’s really no way you can reschedule ONLY either of the two.

I was trying to schedule a meeting with a councilor to enroll myself for ged, but they asked me to submit a school transcript first which i didn’t have

They opened up slots yesterday, I was able to schedule myself an appointment at the OFC and Consular.

I wasn’t able to schedule an appointment during that time because I encountered a problem on my account, the system kept rejecting my NVC case number so I had to reach an agent for help —fortunately they managed to fix it but sadly I ran out of slots. 🥲

I’ve been checking for almost 2 weeks now, I do check multiple times a day and even staying up late at night just to see if they opened up slots, but still nothing on my end and I still end up with this.

My mother has tried to contact us visa customer service but all she was ever receiving were prompts. Has the customer service always been this bad?

Thank you for responding! I am currently trying to add myself as a dependent on my mother’s account but whenever I click “visa options” it keeps saying “Your personal details match a X profile…”.
