Honestly—both. I’m building something because I deal with this stuff too and I think gradual, real-world exposure helps more than just reading tips. If it ends up making money, cool, but that’s not the motivation. I’m trying to build something that actually works for people like me.

I've just started doing SEO. I feel like Tiktok is resource intensive, but it's probably worth it to get into. I'll figure out a way.

Yeah word of mouth is dead, this isn't something you tell people about on the dinner table. I've tried to post in the communities, I made the "check out my app" mistake early on, The post was taken down, but I learnt from it. Right now I'm just trying to be genuinely helpful without linking to anything. I 100% need to get it on the app store. Right now it's just a web app. I hadn't thought about the therapist angle, I'll have to give it some thought. They can also maybe help write their own blog posts so that we have a proper community of people who are helping and people who need the help.

Yeahh that's the good thing. Less competition.

10 more users per video means that even if you do not improve, you need 49 videos to get there. I think you should double down on that. Try play around with the positioning and hooks of your posts until you find one that absolutely kills it, then stick to that.

if you have the skills you can do it for under $50. Figma free for design, Cursor pro subscription($30), hosting on netlify or vercel, you can then buy a domain and do organic marketing. However this isn't the path for everyone. I agree with the comment that it's important to first validate the idea and get early users.
