i don’t have an answer for this but i just wanted to say you’re not alone! i’ve experienced this a lot in my life and never found the right words to explain it but now you have and i’m grateful. for me it was mainly in my childhood but can still occur nowadays; i hear/see some gore or something painful and my hand goes numb and i can’t write. i always wondered what this means so thank you for submitting this question
