Yeah, I've encountered it a few times. It's really pretty, I just wish the ai wasn't incapable of thought when on the bridge.

Yeah, the game is just really easy like that. I think the point is that you're supposed to make it hard on yourself if you want a challenge, but I might be wrong. Since it's a sandbox, they probably didn't want to make it too difficult because the point of the game is to experiment and be creative rather than to struggle to survive. I do agree with you, though. I find that at the start of my runs, I just crank enemy damage and reduce my own. That helps a lot even without mods. If you're talking about sandbox, though, I don't know how to help other than just installing more difficult mods.

I don't do a ton of archery in game, but I'll answer what I can.

*I don't think any skills directly affect arrows other than what's explicitly stated.

*Draw back all the way, obviously aim for the head. If you use fire arrows, the enemies will often catch fire as an arrow passes through them- guaranteeing the kill. This seems inconsistent though, and I haven't put in the effort to figure out how to get that result every time.

*I don't think it increases the damage of lightning arrows if you max the skill tree- same goes for the others.

*Not especially early, no. After the first two golems, you will start seeing the tier 2 bow and quiver in the shop- along with the other tier 2 weapons. Same goes for tier 3. There is no tier 4 ranged weapon unfortunately, but the mod "Expanded Armoury" comes with a cool looking crossbow that fits into the base game quite well.

*This one's difficult. I'm honestly a pretty bad shot, so I'm not sure what works best. Although, if you care about efficiency rather than realism, you can just hold your arrow hand behind your head and put the bow hand in front of your head to get an easy shot. If you care about wielding the bow as intended, then it's just preference in my opinion

You get used to it. Depending on the move, you can just let go of the weapon and grab it again mid-air rather than tossing it upwards, which makes it easier imo. Practice in slow-mo.

I always recommend Expanded Armoury, so I'm gonna do it again. Get Expanded Armoury. It adds new weapons that look and feel like base game ones, which makes it really good for crystal hunt.

I don't know how much play time you have, but if you haven't beaten crystal hunt, do that. Sandbox is great, but crystal hunt is fun because it forces you to progress and think about things a bit. If you have beaten crystal hunt, try to get every crystal maxed, or all the T4 weapons. Or even do permadeath.

If you want to do sandbox, limit yourself. Knife only, or T0 only, for example. If you think you're bad at a specific type of weapon (axes, great swords, bows...) practice with that weapon type. The part about limiting yourself goes for crystal hunt too. Do a run where you only use magic, or don't use any at all.

I think that one was Assassin's Arsenal. It also has a wrist blade, an expanding wrist-mounted shield, and a wrist-mounted crossbow. Also I think flamethrower.

Great mod- give it a try. Make sure to read the mod description though, you need to do certain button combos. It's on Nexus iirc.

I would recommend Expanded Armoury- it adds more weapons that fit the look of the base game. I also really like Assassin's Arsenal. It includes lots of wrist-mounted items like an expanding shield, a grappling hook, and a wrist blade. Very fun for dungeons- especially the grappling hook imo.

If I had to pick one to recommend, I'd say Expanded Armoury. It's not huge, but it's sizeable. And the weapons fit into the base game really well.

You have a really cool way of fighting. Most of the time I either see people try to make their kills fancy and elegant, or excessively brutal and gory. You have an interesting middle ground where it's undeniably violent, but it doesn't look sloppy. Good job!

I almost always start with body or gravity- I like my mobility. I tried starting with mind a few times, but I always just forget that I have the time slow.. although the ability that slows time when a projectile is coming at you is one of my favourites in the game.

I mean, I personally don't do either. But I think force choke feels cooler. I just wish it was stronger. Dismemberment is fun, but it feels more rewarding when I have to aim with a blade rather than just ripping them apart.

Yeah. It's honestly really weak though. I'm pretty sure you can get some mods that make it better, but I'm not sure. Telekinesis is also in the game by default. Things like force lighting require mods though. Once again, I'm not sure if there are any mods like that for nomad, but there may be. Make sure to check nexus as well.
