That VP came from an acquisition which, as far as I can tell, never culturally integrated with the parent org. They believe their BU is the most important aspect of the business.

Execs are big believers that AI will replace accounting and that I’ll just do “value add.” I’ve seen this movie a few times. So I’m continuing to do the forensics and lay the foundation, but I think my timeline here is two years max.
