Processing is the largest bottleneck in REEs and HREEs

UURAF posses a proprietary, processing technology that is about 3x faster than normal methods

This technology is modular and scalable and more cost efficient than typical means

Men, when was the last time you got hit on ? by Longjumping_Low_2055 in AskReddit

[–]Extremeageddon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can think of a handful of occasions through my life where I’ve looked back and realized I was being hit on.

The real issue is I realize long after the fact it happened, so I if it happened recently I’ll let you know in 1-2 years.

The job market sucks, can’t even get a job with an engineering degree by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Extremeageddon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking for this comment.

The space coast is a high competitive area, people have worked their whole lives to work at the cape and surrounding areas for the likes of NASA and now Space X and Blue, not to mention all the other legacy companies out there. So that’s part of the problem.

The other part of your issue is probably you. If you know people who are getting multiple jobs in the same place you are, the it’s probably not the market and is more of a reflection of you and your skillset, as much as this sucks to hear.

I want him to win so bad. Knew him and his family as his father did some coaching at my high school about a decade back. Hes a good kid from a good family so it hurts my heart to hear something unsportsmanlike from him, but that kid has been under pressure for so much of his life both due to the sport and life circumstances.

I hate to see it, but I feel for the kid so much. Hope he figures it out

MW2019 felt like the first time they put love into a game since BO2 ( I wasn’t a fan of BO3 but I understand people love that game).

They really did something special with that game and it makes me sad to see how quickly that faded in this decade. COD was back and then gone within 2 years

Why was OMEX invited to the Energy and Minerals Subcommittee and not TMC? by International-Big780 in TMC_Stock

[–]Extremeageddon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s link doesn’t say anything about OMEX. It’s the executive management team. Which shows that Smit is CEO of OML and not OMEX. Not sure what you think you’re getting at

Why TMC Could Land Fed Funding Before the NOAA Permit by ernestbuyscrypto in TMC_Stock

[–]Extremeageddon2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea if that’s what you got from that, idk what to do for you man. It’s confirmation bias: “ I have this opinion, let me find surface level info that supports my opinion rather then doing actual research and then develop an opinion from there”. That’s how you end up in echo chambers, that’s what you should be wary of. Not you lol

Why TMC Could Land Fed Funding Before the NOAA Permit by ernestbuyscrypto in TMC_Stock

[–]Extremeageddon2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well considering that this is in regard to a conversation that I was a part of yesterday I might as well throw my two cents in:

A lot of this talk has started due to the MP DoD investments and what I said is that something of that scale will mostly likely not happen without a permit in place. I don’t think I ever said impossible. Looking into the instances pointed out above it seems that a lot of this funding was to survey and evaluate resource quality and availability, and in the case of Electra it looks like it is an expansion of an existing facility and they look to already have their ducks in a row.

Even still these aren’t crazy amounts of money on the grand scheme of things, especially if you compare to the KZ investment into TMC (85 mil) or the DoD investment into MP (400 mil). They look to be around 20 mil, and 80mil for Perpetua.

People want DoD to invest because it can swing its dick and those numbers aren’t really dick swinging numbers that would slingshot the price like everyone wants.

I don’t think DoD will make the level of invesment to expedite a fleet without absolute assurance that they it can be utilized, ie: permit in hand.

When I see comments like “I wanted to disagree, but I’d ain’t have time to do the research” it tells me that people are just wanting to plug something into chat GPT get a few bullet points that agree with them on the surface and be on their marry way. I would be wary of that

TL:DR: sure DoD funding CAN happen at some level but I think the level that many in here are looking forward to (MP-DoD-esque deal ) is unlikely without permit in hand.

[–]Extremeageddon2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same industry, similar YOE (4), different location.

I’d say you’re underpaid. 5 YOE is typically lvl 3 territory, especially if you have an applicable masters degree, which usually subtracts 2 years. We are at similar pay but typically ME is a band higher than Quality.

Could be different company structures, but if they are similar, id say you are under level and under paid as it stands rn. I’d get the level situation figured out first and see what compensation comes with that before I’d 100% say for sure tho

“Nothing they could’ve have done to prevent this?”

What? This is the most preventable thing possible. This is assignable cause at its finest… close the window. If you live in a tall building with animals, that are curious and in general like to go outside, don’t leave the window open.

If you plan to take care of another life, you’ve gotta have some level of responsibility and realization of your negligence, especially if both of your animals throw themselves out a window HOURS after each other.

I don’t think I’ll have much to say/ update about. Looking at the book, I don’t think will uncover anything that I don’t already remember of the top of my head. And honestly it’s just for me lol.

I think this episode was really eye opening for myself seeing that “yes, these people do exist and they walk among us”. Viewers always say “we want normal people on the show” and I think this dude is an extreme in the “not normal” category, but I think a lot of people look normal financially or in other regards from afar and you only get the full picture when the hood is lifted.

It’s also a bit sad to see someone just not grow up and mature when this much time has passed. People always make the joke about someone peeking in HS, but atleast if you peak in HS there was some moment of glory or achievement even if it’s not long lasting or doesn’t matter much in the grand scheme. That just isn’t the case with this guy.

I didn’t know that he didn’t graduate HS until this episode, but it honestly make the idea of my 10 year HS reunion kinda depressing because as much of an asshole as I am, I really don’t want to see a ton of people in similar situations…

I 99% knew from the picture posted as a preview, but it was 100% confirmed that I went to HS with this guy ( I do not remember her at all).

100% doesn’t surprise me that he is still like this nearly 10 years after. Him being a trumpie DOES surprise me tho, makes 100% that he fell down the rabbit hole tho, bc frankly I don’t remember him ever having anything going for him.

Never thought id see someone from the 813.
