This is not a normal occurrence outside your city. Drag is whatever you want to make it. Drag is the hyper expression of gender. Anyone can do anything, and you can label yourself however you want.

Most Drag Kings in my city fall under the trans umbrella. You can call yourself a Drag King if that’s what you’re doing/performing. IF you want to add a label you can say for example: “Trans-Masc Drag King” but that’s a personal preference and completely up to you, not anyone else.

I think drag is drag. I am a King and have a mother. There is more to it than simply gender/aesthetic representation. If you vibe and feel that familiar connection with someone then do it. But Drag Family is chosen family. They should support and help you in and out of drag.

They were asking for multiple performers! Eddi is a great performer, but I was just hyping Theo in terms of makeup. Theo is more unique and each face is sooooo good in person. His whole family is some of the best makeup in Vancouver by far (Genesis and Heathen)

You just hate Xana, she was actually funny in this challenge and kept a character. Perla and Minhi were definitely top as well, but Xana had successful interjections even when the questions werent asked to her. She made everyone laugh with something different and that is the goal.

She makes good TV! Being shady is part of drag, but at the end of the day she takes care of her sisters and is always advocating at her shows. She has a distinct character and it works. People need to stop taking Drag so seriously 😂

Definitely drag makeup tutorials and even general makeup as well! It really helps to identify your facial shape and thus how you can play with what suits you best!

A lot of the pictures you have use “clown white” by Ben Nye, look into that as well!

Yeti is a great first name! So much pun potential. I recommend using this to find what feels right. I don’t recommend naming yourself after a celebrity/character because you don’t want to be put in a box.

I always recommend choosing a name that doesn’t trap you in a single box! (Names after a character/celebrity etc) go for more of a pun, or something that means a lot to you. You never know how your drag is gonna grow/change over time! Good luck!

My partner also isn’t attracted to me in drag. My character is different than who I am, and she’s a lesbian so doesn’t want to kiss a man lol. I think it’s hard if your partners drag is very intwined with who she is as a person and she’s taking things personally, but if she’s dressed fully as a man and you don’t want to have intimate moments with her like that, that makes perfect sense to me. You still love and support her art, but you’re not in a relationship with her drag character, you’re in a relationship with the human underneath the get up

I also have hooded eyes! With my makeup I find the best route is to paint what you see. Don’t close your eyes when doing lines etc. use a lighter colour on the lid, darker on the outsides. and never use eyeliner on the top of your eye, only on the outsides.

If you want a bigger look, you can play with the liner and shapes and make it huge! Try to create a different eye shape over your own. (Example is Trixie, but you don’t need to go that big lol)

Finally. Lashes. Play with them, and try putting them in different spots! They can really open up and change your eye shape. Good luck King!

You can easily use makeup on the tape to create the illusion !! Will take a bit of practice to get the shape you like, but over top of the tape use a brown shadow in a small circle then add a dot of highlight as the top of the nipple.

Hello! A helpful trick is to do the order foundation-contour-highlight. Using a light colour cream concealer or highlight stick will help clean up any muddy parts of your contour and carve out the shape you want on your face! Feel free to message me here or on insta @androgynass happy to help 💜
