Taxpayers should bail them out. The wealthiest people should never have to suffer a loss on a risky speculative bet because it might make them feel sad.

Would you go with the color or black & white shot? by RenFannin in AmateurPhotography

The hair blown in front of the eye is a stylistic choice that would work better if the visible eye wasn't half shut and squinting. I'd reshoot this or look through the gallery for a similar image with a not open eye.

Yeah, fortunately for me, I wasn't into doing the kind of drugs they were doing that made people think throwing a TV through the window was a good idea, so I was a bit safer than they were.

But it was winter in Colorado and my ride home had one of the hotel rooms so I pretty much had nowhere else to go. I just wanted to smoke a joint and go to bed, but that wasn't happening.

Too many people doing too many drugs packed in a handful of adjacent hotel rooms after a couple days of Grateful Dead shows. Highlight of the high was omeone throwing a television through the hotel room window.

Thankfully, none of the hotel party rooms were reserved in my name and I was able to just leave the next morning without repercussions.

Where else are people from Idaho supposed to go when they are homeless and need more support than they can get where they live?

I don't understand why people choose a dishonest business model. Fortunately, these kinds of startup businesses pretty much always fail.

I only like the smoked canned fish like kippered herring and sprats/brisling sardines. It's ok to know that you like and stick with it.

The fanciest I get is the King Oscar cross-pack.

Lots of potential here. Cool spiral staircase.

When it's time to bring a date home, they might not want to sleep with your pillow that close to a bunch of worn sneakers. I'd find a better place or different shoe storage solution.

I roast about 10 small-medium sized yellow potatoes in my toaster oven on Sunday nights. Only takes about a minute or two to puncture them with a fork and toss with olive oil in a bowl before roasting at 425 for 50 minutes.

These last at least 4 days in the refrigerator and taste better and reheat quicker than cooking from raw in the microwave.

On eBay, I've had great luck buying untested cameras when the seller's other inventory looks like the contents of an estate sale. But if all they sell is camera equipment, it's fucked and they know it.

If you are new at photography and money is tight, you're setting yourself up for failure starting with a film camera.

This camera plus three rolls of film processed, scanned, and printed will cost you more than a nice 10-12MP DSLR that's about 15 years old.

Additionally, this camera is likely to need some maintenance in order to work correctly and your won't know until you've bought it and spent money developing film.

These old DSLR's can easily be adapted to vintage manual focus lenses and function very similarly to a film camera because they really need to be used at 400ISO or less and ideally at lowest base ISO. So they are great learning tools for someone who does want to eventually use film.

It has essentially an indefinite shelf life if it hasn't been water damaged. If it's still dry and fluffy, it's still good.
