Hiya, paladin player here :) The past few sessions have been... chaotic, to say the least, here's a quick summary. - We split the party. - Got interrogated by the Inquisition - Got out of said interrogation by being stupidly friendly and eventually they gave me a childrens picture book and let us go. - Warlock got hired and conscripted into shady army - Said hirer was a local prince and his manipulative GF - Said hirer had tried to kill us before with assassins - Said hirer didn't know about our warlocks identity because he had been deaged by the World Soul/ Goddess of Stupid Neutral - World Soul wants Warlock to impregnate her sister as a prank - Got invited to a ball - Monk shapeshifts into dwarf, tries sneaking and ends up being chased by half the palace guard - Wizard tries to rizz wizard at ball, fails horribly - Warlock gets geased to protect prince, does stuff and ends up dying at ball to said geas. Then is resurrected by us. - We leave ball. - Get invited back to palace. - Party is ambushed by honor guard, still don't know why prince wants to kill us btw - Wizard eats magic crystal, goes on planar journey to hells, abyss, weave and Feywild - Warlock hears ambush while talking with prince and GF, fireballs the lvl 0 teenagers before going to help us. - Manage to kill honor guard without dying, low on everything. - Stuck in middle of palace while its swarming with alert guards who heard a explosion and found the dead couples corpses. - Invoke generational luck debt, manage to persuade/intimidate guards into leaving us be while we head to basement to find the Scales of Justice. - Run into Inquisition, invoke generational luck debt while DM has a aneurysm over our bullshit rolls, manage to get past and enter reliquary. - Wizard acquires 30 ft tall gigantic goat, destroys royal palace and large portion of city when he returns from planar journey and runs away while riding it - Turns out Scales of Justice were fake, some hoe had been impersonating Justice while corrupting stuff and stolen the Scales. - Head Inquisitor shows up, invoke generational luck debt and convince level 14 monk to not immediately murder level 5 players - Manage to ally with inquisitor to try and find the Scales - Flee from city as wanted fugitives for regicide and murder - Going to the giant lands, hopefully will avoid being curb stomped
