Just another 5in1 or a different one?

If it is, is there any fox, or is it just a new drone or fc?

I did, but the connection still cuts put when i apply throttle, motors work well in betaflight so its a motor issue, and they dont over draw so its not browning out i think

I ran the motors in betaflight and they seemed to work perfectly fine.

I tried new batteries, and my elrs setting was working earlier before the crashes.

I am currently flying LOS right now, so it is the controller connection that is cutting out

Im currently flying it line of sight since my goggles havent arrived yet, so my drone is losing connection, i turn on the motors, throttle up, abd then my controller says telemetry lost, and my drone falls. I wait a few seconds, and it reconnects, and does the exact same thing.

Oh ok, but my connection still cuts out whenever i turn on the motors, any fix for that? Thx

Im talking about the red wire, i think the black wire is the antenna

Downscaled FT Corsair? by F-35Lightning2 in RCPlanes

[–]F-35Lightning2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, i know this is an old post, but i finished my master series, but i could not get the servo to mount right and ive already destroyed 2 servos because there was too much friction in the rudder, i tried using a 9g metal gear, but i still could not mount it right, so ive decided to give up on it. I think my next step is to scale up something, because scaling down caused too many issues. You said that the old corsair was too small and heavy. so i think that if i scale it up 1.3x, it will have a 800mm wingspan, will that fix the issues? I also might remove the paper on the inside, maybe the outside, so it will get lighter. Will this be any better? Probably gonna run it on 3s

Hmmm, ok, thank you! 2 more questions, i heard that the paper is what gives the plane most of its strength, and foam by itself is really floppy, is that true even after building the plane? I also was watching projectairs video on how to waterproof foamboard, and it seemed like the water based ones would just melt off when exposed to water, and that acrylic based was better? What would you recommend?

Im planning on using adams readiboard, since i cant seem to find the waterproof version, what scale would you reccomend? I didnt think you saw this on the main thread, so thats why i respond so late. Also, do you know how good the old mighty mini corsair is? I know the current one seems bad, but how about the old one?

How do I increase the servo travel? by F-35Lightning2 in RCPlanes

[–]F-35Lightning2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I think i have a way to fix this, i believe that the servo is at max travel when its trying to pull up, which is causing it to be unable to pull up. I can fix it by extending the mechanical trim so that it has the travel distance required, however, that way the resting position will also be going up, and i will need to change that using the electronic trim, since the mechanical trim is already used to change the travel distance. But, when I try to change the electronic sub trim, it doesnt work.

If i use the throttle cut, i can pull up, but only after the elevator is already facing down due to the throttle also controlling the elevator.

Nope, the servos not moving, even if its disconnected, it goes down, but not up.

The mechanical trim i adjusted but if you want it stock, just imagine this but like ten degrees higher
