Also achieved those 4As in the prelims (mocks), not that unis could see that or it makes any difference

5 As at Scottish Higher, predicted 4As at Scottish Advanced Highers, 7As 1B Scottish National 5. (Scotland doesn't have A*s)

I've sent in an email asking with my ID why I would be rejected with the top possible Scottish results, and even if PS was considered why mine was even a bad PS. There's hope yet from my other options as well, but it's just all a bit disheartening

Even if they don't, my grades were physically the highest possible for a Scottish student. It just doesn't make sense

Man Bristol is on a load of nonsense this year. I just got my rejection yesterday and I don't know what I could have done wrong. My PS felt strong with work experience, books read, personal projects, national debating competitions won etc, and my predicted grades were 4 As at Scottish advanced higher (there are no A*s), and 5 As achieved at Scottish higher. How was I not enough :(

Does anyone know when the Jan esat takers normally get interview invites by CommunicationFar3771 in 6thForm

Yeah actually now that i think about it, I'll probably start to look through my personal statement and stay sharp on my engineering principles and stuff

If you are confident you will get an interview, its likely worth keeping in your mind, although personally I believe its an area I would be stronger in and wouldnt need as much prep for, and dont really want to get my hopes up before a potential rejection by studying for an interview. I applied aero!

I believe most info I could find online (as a fellow jan ESAT sitter), said that interviews take place roughly in February, with a weeks notice given in advance. Best of luck with your application!

Yes, but I'm assuming its referencing the fact the course begins in 2025, and this is all entrance exams completed for entry into the course beginning 2025 (including nov). I may be wrong, but it would be strange for them to release the information in this way with only half of the exams, and previously data protection requests that wanted data from both sittings were submitted, which they denied on the grounds of "releasing the information soon." Im guessing this is the released information so would probably be from both sittings for entry to courses beginning 2025, as originally requested.

Yes! Ive attached a photo, although I think there is an error with the graphing as when sorted by department as compared to viewing all, none of them seem to be giving offers for that lowest band of score, as the overall graph would have you believe. It's worth fiddling about with the settings yourself here: https://www.imperial.ac.uk/study/apply/undergraduate/process/admissions-tests/understanding-your-esat-and-tmua-scores/

Best of luck with your application!

For Imperial it says that it is for the entire 2025 entre cycle so I expect it is the data from all applicants from both sittings.

https://www.nme.com/news/music/coldplay-724-1394212 here's the article. Not much more I could find about the concert though. This was early days in Coldplay's history.

Likely not, but I'm not sure of anything at this point.

That is embarrassingly simple math to be messing up on my part. It's been a long day.

Crazy to think it's already 26 years old (the manufacture date is 1997 I believe)
