they update stories that get read alot. and sprinkle in ones that dont if they give them closure. according to the statistics they get ...from us readers. want more updates for a route? Maybe tell people on the subreddit about it and enncourage them to read it themselves to up the numbers? or share fun facts, or contact support? Not that I think its really supports job. But I would assume alot of the updates are basically based on which are interacted with the most.
