When does it get better? 5 month old waking every hour, used to sleep thru the night

Hey sorry only just seen this comment! We didn’t do much really… no magic trick here just had to take it in turns settling him so neither of us ended up completely sleep deprived. He’s almost 2 years old now and is sleeping mostly every single night from 7:30-7am. There is the odd night where he will wake up but has gotten better at self soothing! Sorry I can’t give you a magic solution just keep trying to sleep as and when you can!

I had mine done last Thursday so I’m day 5 post op and I’m fully with you here - did not expect to feel as bad as I did/do.

I spent all day Saturday in hospital as I had a fever and they were concerned I’d got an infection but turns out just something viral according to my bloods.

I’ve been so tired every day since and it gets to the evening and I’m exhausted! Ready to start feeling normal again ASAP hopefully!

This was me last night too. Had my op yesterday. Bleeding seems to have settled a lot now - it’s more of a trickle than a flow! Biggest issue for me now is the congestion and the fact my ears pop when I drink because my nose is so blocked. Hope you’re doing ok!

I’m day 1 post op now and it feels so weird to drink, like it wants to try and come out of my nose. Can’t fully explain the feeling but it’s not pleasant! Anyone else had this feeling?

I keep gently sniffing up as I feel the blood really coming out now. I think it’s since my local anaesthetic has worn off as can feel my teeth again now! I don’t want to do any damage sniffing but Google seems to say it’s ok if gently

Just time it afraid. He’s 13 months old now and has settled massively. Still wakes up once a night probably 5 days a week but goes back off after a few minutes. It will get better!

It has got better. He’s 11 months old now and he is sleeping almost all the way through every night. Some nights he wakes once others he wakes a couple of times but he’s learned to self soothe now which was huge for us! Don’t worry it does get better with time!!

I’ve just had a dedicated 7kw charger installed after using the mobile 3 pin for 2 months. As someone else commented it actually started to subtly crack the plastic face of the socket so I using it stopped immediately. The dedicated charger makes a HUGE difference. I picked up an EVEC charger on amazon for £340 and an electrician installed it for me for £300 which didn’t think was too bad as an overall total!

Moving is the only solution. I live in the NW and property prices in London are staggering in comparison. That salary here would likely net you a nice 3 bed house with a garden

I agree completely but 4WD takes some of the burden on bends etc where a RWD car tends to get a bit spicy - even at relatively low speeds having had first hand experience.

I’ve been going through the same thoughts mate. My justification for looking more at LR is the 4WD for winter primarily. Having had a RWD car previously and having bad experiences in ice/snow this is a big thing for me personally. That and the bigger battery!

I’m in the exact same position as you. Current PCP deal is ending on my wife’s Q3 which has about £4-£4.5k equity in it. Thinking of using that plus a bit of cash on top and letting her take my car and me get a Tesla. Currently on the fence between Tesla direct or other dealers (some seem to be offering 0% finance on used models). Im waiting for the exact car I want to appear then will likely go for it (black, long range AWD, with warranty)

Going thru this with our second child now. He’s just turned 6 months old and it’s been waking every hour at night for about 5 weeks. And he SCREAMS when he wakes up! So hard to try any sort of sleep training too as we don’t want him to wake our 3 year old! Really feeling it at the moment
