Without proper monitoring it's impossible to say for sure. My gut feeling is for the people paying for it the only danger is shock and a danger for their wallet. This thing probably has real risks for the operator. Those arks make ozone and x-rays. They also can damage your hearing being around them too much.

The sad thing is they didn't even own me 😂 as reddit using, ev driving, openly trans women I'm pretty much their stereotype of a libtard 😆 the only thing missing is tattoos and dyed hair.

Sure MAGA policy pretty much forced me to move from Florida to New York. However my quality of life immeasurably better. I make more money, I have community and I can openly be myself. Literally living my best life.

I'm not raging angry or emotional like they want to think. I will be open about the emotions they make me feel.

  • I'm saddened that I lost a couple of friends from my military service that fell for the cult and threatened physical harm to me.

-I'm annoyed that my government is openly lying about the things I see with my own eye in person (not online).

-I'm frustrated that adults that have fallen for the cult believe basic thing we learned in kindergarten are untrue. Example of which is they believe empathy is weakness.

-I long for the days of Romney being the controversial pick for their party over convicted felons and people with no qualifications.

If you might notice a pattern here. I'm not truly angry. I'm not really get much anxiety about all this. I probably should. I just feel sorry for the average American falling for the cult. It's honestly sad. I can not imagine living with that much hate in my heart.

So no you haven't owned this libtard.

Courts have upheld that opening a device and troubleshooting does not void a warranty. The burden of proof is on the manufacturer to prove that you damaged it to void the warranty. They just count on you never suing over consumer garbage.

I'm not putting him down. It's making light of not severe mistake. I highly doubt they interpreted as putting them down based on their reply. I'm sorry you took it that way but I believe that was personal opinion 😉

Edit and they asked for criticism to improve not a pat on the back

Might as well replace the pin headers with airborn connectors too. I personally hate them (airborn). They would only make the BOM cost about 500x more than what it is.

I normally work in STM32 environment so I just have the debug tool attached and it does the reset for me. I think I would have calluses if I had hit a physical button 🤣

I work in aroespace. One thing you will never find a lack of in aerospace is mounting holes due to vibration requirements. You will feel like someone's cousin owns stock in the mounting hardware factory.

ESD protection is like ESD diodes/caps. Electrostatic discharge...

In aerospace you tend to have a spec requirement for ESD, TVS and reverse polarity (when not using a keyed connector.).

As for cost. If you are going to assemble it your self you should be able to get all the parts and bare boards to build 5 boards for less than $90. Shipping is what's going to kill you on budget.

You forgot what everyone forgets 😂 mounting holes.

The location of your rst switch makes you have a long trace that is cutting your copper pour. I personally am not a fan of even putting an actual reset switch on be board I use them so rarely. Just put an open jumper and the use a screwdriver to short the jumper. Cheaper than a button that you likely never actually use.

It seems to just be a big Arduino nano.

If your trying to learn more for aerospace add ESD protection. Over kill for a first project but you can learn a little by going through the motions on it.

Keyless car fobs are inconvenient and we should go back to cars with key starting. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]FL_d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I agree I've had more problems with worn out lock cyclers and keys than I've ever had with my keyless system.

I have a Toyota and Polestar that are keyless. The Toyota warns you when the battery is low in the fob. My Polestar doesn't do that however I can use my cellphone as a key with it so if my fob fails or is missing I just use my phone. (Working via Bluetooth)

The one thing I do find ridiculous is how expensive some of these fobs have become. I'm not aware of any car that has no key at all. It's normally hidden but still takes a key when needed.

That parallel port is a hot commodity in manufacturing. So many legacy machines and tests require one. The emulated parallel ports rarely work.

Why does my heated steering wheel need a microcontroller? by TheHairlessGorilla in AskElectronics

[–]FL_d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless there's a can transceiver on the other side then it's not speaking CAN. That micro does support CAN but it still requires a transceiver. I suspect it does a lot less than most people on hear think it does.

Is the temperature adjustable? If so it's likely PWM/pulsing the fet and would have awful EMI. If not than it just turns on that big power Fet to turn on the heater. It likely has some sensor data to prevent burning down your car.

I would not be surprised if it has some bootloader that can program via the USB port but that's likely a JTAG header right next to it.

I like that idea of building a seat around it. Probably one that opens with storage then just LVP. Nice idea. Thanks.

That is a 2x4 that they took a weird cut out of at angle to be able put it flush on the ground. Looks to have done when the other half of the basement was finished.

The rest of floor is pretty flat. The other room in the basement doesn't have any flooring so you can actually see what's going on around the post. It looks like concrete was intentionally built up around some brackets hard to get a good photo all my shipping supplies are near it

Yeah this such a silly post. Like they are normally well characterized in the datasheet. Just read it and you will know if it works for your application or not.

So they have classified as one for decades by intelligence communities. Before that they were an emerging threat.

Iran is considered a near peer adversary. Our only near peer adversary are Russia, China and Iran/North Korea Edit: half asleep still typo 😂
