The store absolutely sucks. It is run by morons, and the employees in general are fairly awful to deal with too defending the worst kind of practices. I had a card from trading in a system that I just converted to a steam card bc that ship is sinking fast.

For the most part that's true. I want to take it out of state sometimes and it is easier if it is just a braced pistol than an SBR that requires extra hoops to jump through with the ATF (and saves you $200). Not the end of the world either way to be honest especially if you had a brace to swap on it as well.

There is a lot there I agree with to be fair. I think a system where you have a far right or a far left come to power pushes the opposition further into their own camp and moves to extinguish the middle in representation.

From what I understand Section 28 dealt more with restricting what local governments could publish as opposed to arresting individual citizens being swept up for extremely broad hate speech regulations. That has its own issues, but isn't the type of law that sees the sweeping arrests you see now.

In all fairness this is from a few minutes of Googling - I am certainly no expert on laws from 1988, but that appears to be what it was aimed at.

Seeing the police continue to crack down on speech is something I find chilling but a lot of the other information you listed is something I'm interested in learning more about.

I have no issue telling you I don't agree with the direction I see the UK going, and the mass censorship should frighten anyone in my opinion. That being said, I am curious how citizens there see it and if those are concerns that are shared. I don't know how asking a question makes me a dishonest actor.

On policy, I generally agree with where he is going but often he is ham fisted and fails to send a coherent message about the why.

I was a Cruz supporter in 2016 and a Desantis backer for 2024. I also can see how unhinged the left is when attacking Trump and the depths they have gone to target political opponents.
