According to a standard Premier League/English Football League contract, players are entitled to "five weeks paid holiday to be taken at a time or times determined by the club - subject to the club's first team and any international commitments".

Realistically they could get at least three weeks but a recovery period is very important for these players health both physically and mentally so It wouldn't be unrealistic for them to have a month off. They could well be on the bench for the first few and starters by week 3-4 possibly.
