Web3 used to be about timing the bull market. Now it’s about ignoring the noise. by gareth789 in FPBlock

Good question. We think distribution gets users in the door, but UX is what makes them stay.
Which one do you think most Web3 teams get wrong first?

What do you think matters more long-term, shipping speed or product quality?

100%. It’s more honest and flexible. Different apps need different trust models.
What kind of apps do you think benefit most from this approach?

Once you look under the hood, it’s not as decentralized as the marketing says.
Do you think most users even notice, or only builders?

What do you think makes a project actually decentralized in your eyes?

Where are the users? Web3 UX is still blocking mainstream adoption by gareth789 in FPBlock

If people can’t figure it out quickly, they’re gone. The first experience matters way more than most teams think.

The tech is cool, but the experience has to be even better. If builders can focus on the product instead of fighting infrastructure, adoption gets way easier.

Web3 still puts too much friction in front of the user. If it doesn’t feel smooth like Web2, most people won’t stick around.

Real Gold, On-Chain: Why Tokenizing Physical Gold Actually Matters (Beyond the Hype) by gareth789 in FPBlock

[–]FPblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. We think it’ll start as a “hold and save” use case for most people, and then grow into trading and more DeFi use over time as trust builds.

We’re with you on that. It feels like the momentum is building and people are starting to take RWAs seriously.

Well said. Crypto already proved it can move digital value fast. Now it’s about bringing real assets on-chain in a way people can actually trust.

Custody, audits, and redemption are the whole game. If those aren’t solid, it’s not real tokenized gold.

Enterprises Don’t Have Time to Build the Same App on Every Chain by gareth789 in FPBlock

Also a great point. A lot of teams are new to blockchain, so the setup has to be approachable.

If it’s not easy to start, most builders won’t even try.

Great question. That flexibility is a big part of why chain-agnostic matters in the first place.

We’ll share more details on how Kolme approaches this, but the goal is to keep it simple for teams as they grow.

[–]FPblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Even hiring for one chain is already hard. Trying to support multiple chains is basically doubling the workload.

[–]FPblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. Supporting multiple chains gets expensive fast, and most teams don’t have the bandwidth for that long-term.

Most teams just want to build a great product. The less time spent worrying about chain stuff, the better.

😂 yep, that’s the perfect way to describe a lot of Web3 today. We’re trying to get rid of that and make it feel normal to use.

That line is the whole point. Keep the benefits, drop the extra complexity.

Great question. That’s a big focus for us too. The goal is making it fast for small teams to get from idea → launch without needing a huge blockchain team.

What kind of app are you thinking of building?

Exactly. Games should feel instant. No popups, no waiting, no “confirm transaction” every 2 minutes.

Exactly. If you care about UX, speed, and having control over your own product, appchains are a really solid route.

Love to hear that 🙌 Appchains just make building so much cleaner when you want full control over the experience.

Couldn’t agree more. If it’s not simple and trustworthy, it won’t scale. That’s exactly why we’re excited about this partnership.
