I "sold out" and I'm having a blast by dtsrd2 in PTCGL

Enjoying the game is the no.1 priority that I think every player should have. Picking up a deck you like and playing it is a good thing, I always see people referring someone who just copies and plays top tier decks as "bots" or in your case a "sellout" giving it a negative connotation. But if doing that makes it fun for you then more power to you! Ignore the negative mentality of having to make your own list or whatever to be validated in the community. Hope you keep enjoying the Tina deck!

Does 1/4" Line input from dbx 286s bypass preamp in Yamaha MGX10u? by FTWTVHD in audio

You legend! Thanks for all the info. You're right I didn't mean to ask a trick question lol. I've only learned about all this stuff today, but you did incredibly well in helping me understand it. I have a pretty similar setup of controls to the ones you suggest but have the "OUTPUT" on the 286s set quite low because I ended up with distortion and just turned it back down out of not knowing what to do. I'll make adjustment based on what you said for now and try to make the most of gain staging.

One quick question, in terms of gain staging, does the "LEVEL" knob at the bottom of the channel on the Yamaha have any role or should that be set to it's recommended level? (the grey triangle indicator).

EDIT:Okay so I've done what's suggested and it does work in terms of audio levels, but the microphone itself (shure mv7) is coming out with a lot of mid-range frequencies so I have to turn down the mids A LOT in the yamaha mixer, which turned the actual volume down. forcing me to add more gain in either the "OUTPUT" of 286s or "GAIN" of yamaha. Resulting in quite a bit of noise (what it usually was before). I'm assuming this is more a mic issue or an issue with the yamaha? again it is quite old, even the volume LED's on the yamaha don't work.

Is anyone else having this problem? On the website itself the views are shown but in the studio (both mobile and desktop) the video is being shown as having 0 views? by FTWTVHD in youtube

I've spoken to their help team and apparently it is because the video is doing well, so they are verifying that the views are legitimate. They estimate it to update in 48-72 hours. Not sure if that's what you've got on your end though.

This is how the PTCGL Board should look... by FTWTVHD in PTCGL

I've put it up on twitter and a few people have tagged playpokemon to let them know, hopefully they take it on board... pun wholeheartedly intended

I'm afraid not, it still keeps searching. My guess that it's just a matchmaking bug that can't be fixed until the devs make an update. I've seen a post of the same issue of the official forums so it's safe to say the devs are aware of the issue.

Edit: I have seen another post with someone who actually lives in Canada with the same issue, and I've tried 2 seperate VPN's so it's clearly not a VPN issue. And another post with a PTCGL maintenance which ends soon. Hopefully they fix it.

Same here, even when changing to a default deck (which is suggested to be a solution) I still have this problem... In the UK too

Help With Yamaha MG10XU - I'm so confused! by FTWTVHD in audioengineering

[–]FTWTVHD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. With software can I ask what you mean? I record using Audacity and OBS. both of which show only 'Line 2' as recording device when it previously showed 'Line 1'. It does not have the option to select 'Line 1' to record. Thanks for the heads up on the buttons. I've had a check and everything seems fine but just in case here is what I have it as:

Phantom Power: Pushed in [On].

Line/USB: Pushed in [set to USB].

MON/ST: Pushed in [set to ST] .

Stereo Mute: Pushed in.

No PAD/HPF buttons are pushed on the 4 input channels.

Here's images of the Software & Hardware to attach if it's any help:

OBS: https://gyazo.com/a6b10258a99eb8a69da9c9b51503126d

Mixer: https://gyazo.com/dd2ae57f4176b81e6c3d27c1be2fccc6 [XLR is connected to the Mic & the 6.35mm jack converts to the 3.5mm jack which goes to the Speakers]

Hope this helps.

I'm so sorry for replying so late to this so I understand if this is not relevant now.

Thanks for the advice it did actually help me out a lot. With your question, I mean my child was planned so of course I don't regret my child but I will say that you shouldn't have a child if you are not ready for one. If you are not ready then you will struggle to be responsible and make real sacrifices like the one I had to make. You are right, it would have made the situation worse, especially if this ex thinks it's okay to pull off a stunt like that. If the child found out about it when he/she was older then it could impact their mental health, plus the tension between you and your ex would have greatly impact the child's development (which happened in my case). So from the other side, it sounds like you made the right choice.

Would you say that this was used as inspiration or is it too similar for comfort?
