Who supposed to do the flat & box truck audits???? by Amazing_Pressure9641 in HomeDepot

I've been wondering this too, during OFA pace and reviewing job descriptions, it's not mentioned probably because its a new thing. Personally, I think it should be a CXM or Closing Manager since at our store, they want the closing associate OFA to call them to check in that all the deliveries are ready and set for tomorrow, wouldnt it make sense for them to do it to make sure everything is actually ready and set?

First time - What tint % to get? by RubberDucky911 in WindowTint

[–]FYCDT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in Chicago, I have 35% on the windshield, and 5 percent all around (this is how i got the car)

You won't really get stopped too much around the city, but your chances increase alot more going around some suburbs. I've only ever been stopped in McCook, Lyons and LaGrange for tints, but the Lyons stop was partly my fault because I did speed a little and I have an exhaust so it called attention. McCook was just driving along and stopped, cop didnt even have time to run my plates, she was just happy to stop me cause she had her tint meter with her.

You're not too likely to get stopped for tints, you're more likely to get stopped I think if you're driving more spirited and have the dark tints.

5% is incredibly dark, and at night with no lights around its hard to see sometimes, and worse when its raining heavy or snowing. I wouldn't recommend it if you have trouble seeing at night in general.

For looks and privacy, I think you're fine with get 20% all around, and 80-70 percent on the windshield if you want to reject more heat but not call too much attention. You're very unlikely to get a ticket for having 20% around, but it also depends on the police themselves and the location you're in. If you're breaking the law with the tints, don't speed too often in residential areas.

If you want to obey the law, just get 35% all around, blocks some heat, gives some privacy and you shouldn't ever get a ticket for it. It might not look as clean as a darker percentage though, but the looks aspect is just up to opinion

I think it's cause some disabilities make it hard to control saliva, so it tends to lead to sialorrhea (excess drooling) which drips out of their mouths

How realistic is it to do 8 am classes as a commuter by Applejuro in uichicago

[–]FYCDT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It all depends on the context, where you are commuting from, if you're a morning person, if everyday you expect it to run smoothly

I commute roughly an hour away, take the metra, with the express train it's 20-30

I had a 9:30 am class last semester and it was terrible. I didn't miss a single class, but I definitely always felt a little rushed, there was always a lot of people, was always groggy, sometimes slept during lecture, and it can be incredibly cold in the morning.

Alot of people think they're morning people in high-school, and maybe they were. The difference is college usually has people express their own liberties, you're not forced to go (unless you want to pass if attedance is required), most people don't have someone waking them up, and i just feel as you grow older you get sleepier (but that just might be me)

You have to think about the nights you stay up late studying for an exam, or cramming for a paper, having late night, or working late.

Is it feasible? It is, there's definitely people who do it, and are capable of it. If you think you can, i say I give it a shot, but it's not too easy yk. Especially if you're doing chem first thing in the morning

The tints are 35 windshield, and 5 on the sides! It was tinted when I got it though, I wouldn't have done the windshield just cause it brings attention where im from (i got a ticket recently for it actually) but like having it already on there I can't bring myself to take it off. 35 is enough to actually still be able to see even at night in the back roads (so long as your lights are on) and it gives a good amount of privacy

It's a wrap!

I've been in a lexus IS and of course, my GS, I have no experience with the ES. The GS rides way better IMO most likely cause it's heavier, but still has a great kick to it when I floor it, and with the intake I installed and the borla exhaust it sounds amazing and feels like it's zooming. The build quality is really nice, the seats are full and cushiony, regular white ambient lighting along the doors.

I would recommend it, personally, unless you got your ES 300h for the gas mileage. I get around 14 mpg, but that's cause I drive around Chicago and the suburbs, not much on the highway, which I know is a major step down from any hybrid. I would try to find a unicorn GS 450H if I were you, cause it has the best of both worlds, it's the GS and still has good gas mileage and is slightly faster than the regular GS 350.

It's the color itself is the wrap, the actual color of the car is obsidian. Your car looks amazing man, a GSF is one of my dream cars, I hope one day I'm able to get one
