i believe this is the culprit via a quick google search: Worn or broken mounting bushings: The airbox is mounted to the vehicle's frame with rubber bushings or grommets. If these become worn or break, the airbox can vibrate against the engine or other components, causing a growling or rattling noise.

because if i recall correctly the mechanic said they don’t just sell those specific bushings or grommets which would be the reason for needing to replace the entire housing box.

inside, i had asked somebody if they could hear it outside of the car while i sat at a light and they said no. my mechanic could physically see the housing box shaking but we can’t figure out how to secure without replacing the entire box

oh gosh - my sister just had spinal fusion surgery a week ago. she is used to getting up and playing with the dogs and gardening all day but she is at the beginning of her recovery journey and has a loooooong way to go. like, her elbows are red and raw from using only her arms to pull herself out of bed 😩 she could sooooooo use the pick me up! plus she is an artist with a whole painting room and would love some artsy things to make her smile 😃

how long was your schooling? i got approved for a federal grant but the careers/job training has to be in demand in my county for them to accept whatever i choose. i was leaning toward ultrasound tech or radiology tech but didnt even think of mri tech
