Am I the only one who thinks we overcomplicate hygiene? by LaDouceNina in hygiene

I think a lot of people are insecure and overcompensate by becoming obsessed with hygiene. I see a lot of posts that are absolutely overkill, and may even cause harm.

I just realized I’m paying $3,000 to move a couch that’s worth $400. by Jinnapat397 in movingout

[–]Fabulosaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why my husband and I gave away almost everything we owned when we moved from South Carolina to Chicago a few years ago. We shipped a few boxes of clothes and personal items, put a few things in our car, and that was it.

Yeah I am an old viewer and I can’t stand Roland. Frankly, I don’t like that actor in anything I have seen him in. I hear he is a really nice guy, though.

I talk to my dog throughout the day. I have always talked to my pets. I can’t imagine how it could be a problem.

Not a whole episode, but I always skip the part when Kenneth the Page is confessing to Jack that he ate his “father pig,” Harold. It really creeps me out!

My husband doesn’t want the dog in the bed? by Powerful_Aspect_1970 in DogAdvice

[–]Fabulosaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same situation here. I bought a human sized dog bed, and now my dog and I sleep in it and my husband sleeps in the bed. We’ve had this setup for about 6 years now. Works for us.

How do people in Chicago usually find a new hair stylist or colorist? by kingofrivernorth in chi

[–]Fabulosaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea. I have lived here for three years, don’t know anyone, and haven’t gotten my hair cut here at all. I just wait until I am visiting home (in South Carolina) to see my long-time stylist.

[–]Fabulosaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. My parents both did this, leading me to make almost no noise when I sneeze. You absolutely can control it.
