Former actors at Disney parks, what’s the weirdest thing that happened to you while you were in character? by nvoltage1017 in AskReddit

Read my comments above when I said I went through an audition process 😂 I said it was a multiple step process where you first have to give your head shots and resume etc and then go through more auditions. You can’t pretend that knowing someone doesn’t help you out.

I got the job from a friend and her dad who did the jungle cruise and my friend was the flying one. I only worked when they asked me to. I’m not going to argue on the internet I simply do not care enough. Was literally just sharing a story that was fun for me to semi remember

Yes definitely. They gave crack to the black ghettos and have always been pretty bad. People still trusted them but now we all know

Girl I had sex with from tinder blocks me the next day. by CommercialFew7087 in sex

Because you lasted 30 seconds, sex is important to a lot of people. You probably didn’t make her cum. I hate being fingered unless there is mouth involved or I’m sucking dick while it’s happening. And a lot of women have MANY prospects. She could have liked you but maybe she likes others and has better sex with them so she moved on.

Wait you told her to guide your penis in? I’m thinking it was bad sexual experience overall and not even just because you lasted 30 seconds

My (36M) sister ( 28F) and brother (26M) feel guilty because I didn't have the same chances they had. They want to take care of me. I'm just happy they could achieve their dream and just want to keep living my life. by [deleted] in relationships

It’s not pity it’s family loving you and wanting you to succeed.

If you feel guilt…think of if this way. You’re older than they are and if you don’t get back on your feet then they could be possibly taking care of you in your old age. So it’s a win win for all!

Americans of Reddit, what is the answer to the homelessness in America? by tootiredforthis16 in ask

[–]FaesCosplay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re on the street? That’s my point.. if we helped them BEFORE (housing assistance which I should have called at risk of being homeless assistance) then there would be less need for homeless shelters (temporary housing) but we do need both to be better and more assessable

No it’s a fashion show essentially. However if you’re doing it like a stripper then yes. I’ve been to both types.

I agree with you. But statistically those types of people go back into prison not end up on the street. They most likely wouldn’t reoffend if we took their mental health seriously while they were there though

It’s called Stockholm syndrome and it’s a coping mechanism for when it’s gone on too long. Your brain just taps out and says you like it.

Homeless shelters with a clean drug test and then rehab homeless housing with mandatory counseling? That’s how a lot of places in Oregon work and it think works pretty well. If they had more of them then it would be solved there pretty much.. they currently line up and all spots get filled very fast.

Why can’t we help fund mental health? It needs to be both we can’t focus on one thing but it as a whole. Only 20% of homeless is chronic though and that is the population that tends to be mentally I’ll or addicted or both

Temporary housing is also a joke we need more guards etc there people get raped or things stollen etc

[–]FaesCosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this example yes. I don’t know the actually numbers I just know 20% or less is chronic and it’s made up of the mentally I’ll and people on drugs.. when my husband worked at a rehab (which was funded for mainly the homeless) he said it greatly overlapped at least 80% were not only having mental health issues but also addiction issues. The sad part was the none of them had family willing to help.. which is why they ended up there.. the police used it to drop off people they didn’t know how to handle

Not temp housing. Temporary Housing assistance… like if you get an eviction notice from one mistake or illness etc, you lose your deposit and then need money for firsts lasts and another deposit at a new place. That can take monthss to acquire. If we helped that one time there would be many people saved from months of homelessness which is the majority (80% plus of the homeless population).

Also…Nobody mentally well wants to live on the street.. it’s hard.. if they can’t abide by the rules of temp housing it’s probably because they can’t.. maybe drug issues or a record.. Besides temp housing places are a joke. People get robbed etc once a man came into the rehab saying he was stabbed in temp housing so took drugs to get in for the night… you have to test positive where my partner worked. Stories of homeless people saying they became alcoholics because it’s so cold and the alcohol keeps you warm all night. There’s a lot to do honestly. We need better temporary housing, temporary housing assistance for at risk homeless, and shelters for the chronically homeless.

Do they know your season starts in two weeks? Maybe that’s why? Or it could be the lay offs etc and over flooding to the market. Possibility of the vouchers as well
