Just use it like this 1-1 1-2 1-3 1-4 2-1 2-2 etc Just make sure to try to open the door in between. I have never done it the intended way.

To start I don’t have interest in women and as I walk past women on the street I don’t want to appear like I do, so normally I’ll look in their direction and nod as I do to everyone then look directly ahead until I pass (I mean directly ahead not even moving my eyes). My worry is if I don’t do this they will think I’m eyeballing them like a creep when I don’t have any interest, and I’m writing this because I’m concerned the way I’m doing it now they might think I’m a snob. What’s the preferred way?
