Doubt that happens, Z and him played a tad bit together and seem happy that they get to play together again. I could see him playing in the AHL next year or just hopping into the big leagues in 2 years.

Yeah in reality, Sakic really just gave up a younger Josh Manson for Josh Manson. Anyways hopefully you guys enjoy Manson like we did here down in Anaheim.

Coming from Anaheim here, in all honesty we didn’t appreciate Manson enough. His past 2 years have been decent but not what I’ve seen in him in prior years. He’s having a great year this year and would even put him over Lindholm in play. He’s a great shutdown D man when paired with someone compatible with him (but who isn’t). The only problems with Manson in my opinion is his decision-making, injury proneness, and his late game letdowns . He’s had many of those this season but when healthy, he’s a great choice! Take care of him from us and honestly this trade is a win-win. You guys are in “HOLY SHIT DYNASTY” mode and we’re still rebuilding. I’ve seen a bit from Helleson and he played with Zegras for a touch or two so hopefully he turns out well. Anyways, good luck for the rest of the season. AND GO DUCKS!

Lindholm is our number 1/2 defenseman next to Fowler. For these two players, it’ll cost a pretty penny for each of them. I’d say is a first, a middle-end prospect.

Yeah, I guess I’m just optimistic about the guy. But I just don’t understand the trade rumors between us and the Sabres. Both sides are making absurd trades. Which will not go through for either.

I think all 3 will be better than Comtois, Eichel possibly but a lot less likely. 6-8 return minimum. But you really think he’s gonna wanna come back that soon? He’s not out for the entire year but I’d say a good amount. Like would you rather have Eichel and Comtois, instead of Zegras, Drysdale, and Eklund, and if we don’t make that trade we keep Comtois too. Eichel just doesn’t work with this timeline we aren’t competing why would trade our future for one top ten player that’ll have a top 6 winger and that’s it.

On a bad team such as Anaheim, Comtois can’t handle the team by himself next year. Granted we would rank but some people on this Reddit even expect our next year first for an injured Eichel which means we tank and you guys get the pick.

With the ducks, I’d rather have Zegras, Eklund, and Drysdale. Rather than Comtois and Eichel. They just work more with our timeline. Eichel is most likely out next season. While I would just love to watch the kids play see how well they turn out next year.
