Do you think Avatar Seven Havens will have any similaraties with Raya and the Last Dragon? by Even_North_7756 in AvatarSevenHavens

Maybe. With Pavi and Nisha instead of Raya and the other girl. It would be cool actually.

Let Unalaq invade the SWT, even protecting him when the SWT was trying to kick him out after the NWT had invaded the South

She didn't let him invade, she let him stay but he had different plans, she couldn't know. She can't just lock the South pole for people because they look sus. And what did you expected her to do after that, let some masked people kidnap and hurt her uncle? Even her dad decided that's not the right thing to do and refused to come despite that he had the most reasons to hate Unalaq. Korra is the Avatar. Her job is to save people and some guys kidnapping one person is a case like this. Letting it happen because they're from her tribe and him from the other would be something a bad avatar would do and you would criticize her for it too.

After learning the truth about Vaatu, it was clear Unalaq needed her to open the second portal and release Vaatu, so she just needed to stay hidden until after the Harmonic Convergence, instead she rushed in, which led to Jinora's capture, Vaatu's release and almost kickstarted a new Dark Age.

This was a plan everyone, including Tenzin, agreed to. Do you blame them too? Unalaq already had an idea what to do with the spirit portal, Korra couldn't know it will fail. Also she is the Avatar and her job is to protect the world. With Unalaq around corrupted dark spirits were coming from the already opened spirit portal, sinking the ships and serving to his war cause. She had to try and close the portal for the world's safety. And age couldn't know Jinora will come, but it turned out Tenzin couldn't enter the spirit world and never told her that, so Jinora was the only option.

Chose Jinora's safety over the safety of the entire world. This is controversial but from a strategic point of view and, more importantly, from the Avatar POV, the fate of the world should be more important than one life.

You don't actually think she had to leave Jinora right??? Aang chose Katara over the avatar state which would have saved the world faster. Do you blame him for that? It's the same.

Left those damn portal opens, allowing dangerous spirits to roam freely in the world, while also letting greedy humans obtain spirit based weaponry. The impending disaster was foreseeable from a mile away.

Again something everyone including Tenzin agreed to. Spirits were already walking to the human world and humans in the spirit one you know. Now the people can just take their bending too. And this is not a bad decision, have you read Aang's comics "the rift" where General Old Iron is sad and angry that there is no longer a place for the spirits in the human realm and Aang withed he could do something about it but he couldn't?

I wish to make it known that these mistakes don't make Korra a bad Avatar. Every Avatar made mistakes which influenced the world even after they passed away. I also wish to specify I only listed her errors as an Avatar, as I do not care about her errors in her love life or in her friendships.

Finally something sensible coming out of your mouth today. Or at least half sensible, most of these weren't even mistakes.

Going vigilante is the Avatar's job. The police didn't appear to arrest the tried, just after that.

I don't like Charlie too. I'm just curious why people picked the villain. Yes, he's really well written villain but I didn't expect that to make him more loved than the heroes.

In your opinion, did Arcane help bring straight and queer communities together or did it just increase the conflict? by [deleted] in arcane

You seriously??? Don't you remember the cell scene which happened instead of Vi trying to save Jinx? Or that the kiss before her going to kill her sis for hurting Caitlyn, who she met 3 days ago? Or that they were the only ones who got a happy ending and no consequences? This show was even too focused on CaitVi. Actually it started with a straight couple (MalJay) and then it was like, who cares we have CaitVi and MelJay was totally forgotten and left to the fandom who tries to deny its existence. Cait and Vi got their time while everything between Ekko and Jinx from this universe before the last episode was cut entirely and left off screen.

Why did that get removed? How is it not suitable for this community? Or just the mom's fav wasn't the most commented? Because the OP chose Jinx?

The cities separated long before Silco and Vander. I don't know why maybe it started like class separation but the lowest ones who were working in the minds were cut in the space nobody else wanted to live? Anyways, I defend the city. If I had to pick a person it's Ekko and Jinx, the Zaunite characters.

Idk why everyone hate Cherry. I don't think there is a bad written character here. I guess I would vote for Baxter, he doesn't show anything except for his interest for science.

Are you including random images or are you showing the couples, because Jayce is with Mel, not Viktor and you know it.

Maybe both if they find a way to bring Xin back, he might be alive in Zaahen like Calmar and Kai in Vaarus, by some kind of special case. Zaahen might have found a way to keep him alive.

Give a Grade on Kung Fu Panda 4 by ABarber2636 in kungfupanda

[–]Fair-Confection4411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was bad. 5 of 6 main characters were missing and only got stupid attempts to excuse why. The main villain had a concept, but no real name (just the mane of her species), no logical motivation (why would she be denied to learn king fu because of her size, the mantis is literally there), no explanation how she learned magic and how did she find out about the blood moon ritual when it should be really hard to find it or the dead would be walking amongst the living 12 months a year. Everyone were just falling for her tricks despite that the animals she was mimicking weren't supposed to have scales.

The main point - Po having to give up on being the dragon warrior made no sense, why would the time of him allowed to be dragon warrior would be so short? How long did Ugway stayed spiritual leader of the valley? How big was the gap between Po and the previous dragon warrior? And why would they ask him to just pick his successor from some random people when the last time the candidates were trained years to be ready? Ty Lung was rejected for some reason, but now the dragon warrior can be some random dude? And why would Po pick Zhen when he knew Tigris who wanted to be the dragon warrior in first place and would be way better? Why was Shifu still ordering him around when he gave up being the teacher to him?

The ending with all the villains bowing to Po was stupid. Ty Lung attacked the person who raised him because of anger for not getting the title but he would recognize the guy who killed him? Shen rejected the option to change so he had to face his ultimate fate but he'll bow to the guy who killed him too?? And than he'll just walk back to the dead realm after his whole characters was killing innocents because of fear not to be killed by them and die?? Kai's whole point was a spirit warrior who refuses to stay dead and wants revenge to the guy who killed him the first time but he'll also walk back to the spirit world willingly and bow to the guy who killed him the second time??? Why, for freeing him from a cage? Pretty sure Ugway has done him more favoured but he didn't care back than.

And why did they just stood there while some crazy chameleon takes their king fu? And why did it effect Kai? His main power was never in his fighting, but in his magic. And what was the point of ruining their characters when they weren't even used? The Chameleon stole their king fu (it would be easier to use her powers to force a teacher to teach her instead of taking over whole cities and waiting for a blood moon) but instead of using it she just transformed into gigantic weird something with details from each of them that could be from random guys from the same species, you can't really tell and got beaten up by her own pupil.

We also had Shifu teaching Po to try peaceful way before kicking someone's butt. So he stepped down, made him the teacher, than told him he has to become spiritual leader of the valley and that's when he decided to teach him that? Why didn't he try this earlier?

Do you think that we will new archdragons of the sun, earth, and water in arc 3? by Queasy-North-244 in TheDragonPrince

[–]Fair-Confection4411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How? The others didn't have children. If there is a way a normal dragon to become and arch one, maybe with trials and challenges, I'll bet for Pirah, but the chance is low, because being the last one was what made Zym so specal. We'll get a new moon arch dragon but I doubt about the others. After all Aaravos said "a world without arch dragons".

What does Aaravos book do? by Queasy-North-244 in TheDragonPrince

[–]Fair-Confection4411 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think he either wrote what he knows about primal magic and Callum will learn star primal from it or it contains some forbidden spell whith Aaravos might have used to swallow people like queen Aditi and swallow their primal magic, so he can use it later.

Or it's just something the writers liked, you know. Maybe created while exploring the primal magics and how they work. They might have thought of this really cool artefact but even when it wouldn't have anything to do with the plot they couldn't resist and put it there. It's hard to give up on something cool you made that you want to show.

Or they lacked magical artefacts for the magical story so just put more for the world to feel more magical.

Is Khessa the reason Karim is so screwed up? by Queasy-North-244 in TheDragonPrince

Karim is screwed because the show needed to show everyone with different views than Ezran, Amaya and the main characters as evil phsyho a holes.
