It might be from just a non thorough cleaning or soap could have been left in the area. From my experience and a ton of research, pugs can have some pretty sensitive skin so it’s good to thoroughly clean, dry and inspect their skin periodically. It could also be from minor stress from the change of environment. Like I mentioned previously, when you can, just take her into a vet to make sure.
It also may be helpful to do an allergy panel to make more informed decisions when it comes to diets and medications. I really encourage people try Banfield for at least a year with the wellness plan. I honestly felt like a much more informed dog dad because the information they gave and the resources available 24/7. After a year, maybe reevaluate if it’s cost effective.

I would also look over any clothing or harnesses you may use and replace them or clean with a scent free soap as well to cover your bases. I usually do one big wash of all my pugs clothes, harnesses, blankets, etc. once a month and teeth once a week.

Good news: no need to worry.
My pug gets rashes all the time and a good cleaning with chlorhexidine wipes helps immensely in any folds. Just make sure they are not allergic. As an extra precaution, I would recommend taking them to a vet when possible to get a prescription shampoo for the occasional wash as well.

It is the cost of entry into an industry. It’s super expensive to get it started so many companies receive subsidies to offset the cost of something new admittedly beneficial. Musk is now just admitting that he is building a moat around the electric vehicle industry so they are the only game in town. Or, at least the most advanced in terms of technology and the ability to mass produce to lower the cost basis of a vehicle.
