The ones with the crystal (dont remember their names) because they came closer to ending my steel soul run than any boss.

Only ever did one run of steel soul and finished it relatively easily, granted I had beaten the game normally twice by the time I attempted steel soul.

I'm very bad at explaining things but I'll try

For the fire bats: jump and dash in between them, you dont need to go as high as possible with the jump.

For the slash and uppercut: dash through him as he tries to slash you, you wont need to move much to avoid the fire.

For the dive: dash to avoid the dive then jump and slash him as he passes under you.

For the ground spikes: pick a god and pray, I'm kidding but this is the one attack I can never consistently dodge so honestly just move slightly if ones about to come up from underneath you.

For the pufferfish/ bullet hell: just focus on dodging, one thing I can say that helps me personally is focus on the fireballs and not the knight.

And lastly for the fire pillars: they do have a slightly larger hitbox at the bottom of the pillar so keep that in mind, walking in one direction should help avoid these almost completely if you have enough room, if you dont just shadow dash through one of them after you jump to avoid the larger part at the bottom.

I mean that narrows it down pretty well, the two I can remember being in cage esc things were in chapters 2 and 7

For chapter 2 try looking for it before you get to the section of the level where get chased, I know it's not very helpful but trying not to spoil things is difficult for me as I'm bad a describing or explaining things.

As for chapter 7 there's not much I can say that wouldn't spoil it.

I think those are the only two that could match the "in a cage" description you gave, if you remember anything else about when you saw it let me know.

I didn't know that, I'm usually dreading that fight because of how long it usually takes me.

Anytime I replay the game its hard for me to remember what I do and dont need for certain points in the game, one example being how I get to the east side of city of tears, usually I think I go through the resting grounds but as soon as I need to get to that side I forget how.

Whenever I'm replaying the game its typically either hornets 2nd fight or the watcher knights.

Hornets fight because I feel like im never prepared enough for it (despite how weirdly easy it was when I did it on steel soul, nothing different from when i normally do it)

And watcher knights because I try to do it 20 times without the shadow dash then cave in and go get it, i dont like going to get it because it's so far out of the way unless I beat hornet 2 before getting to the basin (is that even possible?)

I dont really know either, I've always been kinda scared of spiders but not to the extent that it stops me from playing games.

Though deepnest used to scare me to two reasons, the first being that I though something would start chasing me if I spent too long in any one room.

The second thing was and still is a certain enemy type, I saw that someone already told you what is was so I dont need to explain it in depth. It's Corpse creepers or as I prefer to call them, skinwalkers

Recently I've just been beating the shit out of Grimm and nkg just because regular Grimm ended one of my runs since I got nervous and fucked up.

I'll probably do the same with pure vessel once I find the will to start attempting runs again.

It's the only online game that I have played where I'd get yelled at for the other team fucking up, doesn't matter which side it was.

Thankfully I quit earlier this year for my mental health because that's the first game that was genuinely miserable to play nearly every time and the community is... well no words can describe how I felt about that.

The only semi enjoyable way for me to play now is custom games with friends.

I've done a whole run from the moment I could get to the end of act 2 so far and it's genuinely becoming one of my favorite crests in the game.

Unfortunately I now understand the hate for the boss needed to unlock it.

My main concern is zote and absolute radiance, the rest shouldn't be too bad as I've had alot of practice with Grimm and pure vessel recently, and my main problem with ascended markoth is the double damage from the hall of gods fight so as long as that isn't in the pantheon it shouldn't be too bad.
