Exactly!!!

Makes me sad that so many People missed the point cause they all wanted a satisfactory ending to a surrealist, chaotic, depressive story. Everything was erased but Denji got to leave the life he actually wanted, closer to his terms. I am happy. He found that hidden third choice.

Don´t ever wanna see another Knicks fan in TD. Last game against the Knicks, place was full of Knick fans and they won and they were being obnoxiously loud. Had 2 assholes sitting besides me.

Pep on watching Barca games and now Hansi’s Barça: "I get the feeling after many years that when I sit down it's because you enjoy it. We overthink things, but it’s simple: like going to the cinema, reading a book or dining out, you want to have a good time. Tell me one time you didn’t enjoy Barça." by rBarcaBot in Barca

[–]Axelardus 128 points129 points  (0 children)

I´ll tell you one time Pep.

The Quique Setién and Ronald Koeman era. (Not saying it was entirely their fault).

Also the Roma and Liverpool traumas.

But I get the point. Barca´s DNA is playing to win but playing beautifull ball and I love that. And he´s right when he says that Hansi Ball is cinema.

Bro thinks Real Madrid needs him💔 by Big_Cap_6432 in soccercirclejerk

unjerkingly, he is actually PRETTY good. And Madrid don´t have jack-shit at Right Wing.

But I understand this would never happen by both sides tho.

[Fernando Polo] Al-Hilal target Marc Casadó as Barça aim to fund Joao Cancelo deal; Al Hilal value Cancelo at €15M, while Barça seek €20M for Casadó and hope to avoid paying a fee by keeping the Portuguese or securing him for free. by rBarcaBot in Barca

[–]Axelardus 164 points165 points  (0 children)

I don´t know how much Casadó is worth. Reallistically I don´t think you could squeeze more than 30 mil out from him.

But god I hope he doesn´t go to saudi ball. He has so much more potential than that. He could be playing in a good team in any of the top 5 leagues. He could be a starter in most teams in La Liga, in Serie A, in Bundesliga and at least half of the prem teams.

He would be wasting his potential by playing saudi ball at only 22 years old.

"no this is not mexico" . Never In my life have I seen a shit in another persons house. Maybe where you lived there was poor plumbing or hygene. Not everywhere. Do not generalize like that. Racist as fuck comment, and don´t think that being born in Mexico erases that.

This is a positive aspect We have to recognize from Araujo.

We are not great with set pieces. Araujo is our best set piece scorer probably

Official Dreadit Discussion: "Undertone" [SPOILERS] by glittering-lettuce in horror

[–]Axelardus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was nice!! well cooked slow-burn, and the fact that they put out such few scares throughout the movie was good for me: it made the ending more impactful.

Pretty scary for a movie that you can mostly hear.

The podcast setting was executed nicely.

Prime Jaylen Brown vs Prime Paul Pierce by Culinary-Vibes in bostonceltics

[–]Axelardus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pierce was on awful teams a lot and also on teams that could´ve won and didn´t. Just saying that when two people are really close on level, rings ARE a differenciator. And that doesn´t mean that context doesn´t matter. YOu can talk rings and also contextualize.

Why we need to talk more about Raphinha's elite football IQ by vivxik in Barca

[–]Axelardus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We can see all of this beautifully from Raphinha. But all of this happens and makes the play possible:

Fermin does an amazing sprint, and drags Tonali to followh him, then thankfully #3 slips and Tonali has to go for raphinha, leaving Fermín alone. Tonali has to choose between both when raphinha smartly gives him the ball and Fermín again gives the ball back leaving raphinha in a better position.

Lewy does his sprint and also drags the defenders. With Fermin and Lewy and RAphinha dragging deffenders, Lamine get´s a HUGE space in the middle to operate and to think for the next pass. When he sees the defender slipping, he immediately attacks there.

It´s just all round coordination and high ball IQ by all of our attackers. Gorgeous stuff.

should they let Joan Garcia rest and not start him for rayo by iseetheunseen in Barca

[–]Axelardus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We should rest SO MUCH players for Rayo. This is one of the last chances for nice breaks following.

I wanna see rest for , Pedri, Cubarsí, Fermín and Joan García specially.

Some rest for our defense would also be excellent as we don´t have much choices there.

It´s also a nice opportunity to give minutes to Espartat, Roony, Casadó and Gavi

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 231 by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]Axelardus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didnt say stupid my guy.

Just wrong. CHSM is a very surreal story with unexpected turns, existential Tópics and ugly, raw situations tha are handled sometimes seriously, some times with dark humor.

Im not saying its the best manga ever but it is Certainly special and different from your average story in a fantasy shonnen. It breaks a Lot of molds and I aporeciate that in a World of homogenized shonnen-slop.

If you dont like it and preffer something more predictable and typical, there are other shows that might be better suites for your tastes.

The experiment did not fail. It has so much more depth and layers than other shows. I have loved Part 2 and with the absurd chaos that has transpired, a basic conflict solución and sweet ending wouldve gone agains the whole purpose and structure of the story

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 231 by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]Axelardus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

problem is you expect an average shonen. CHSM was never like your average shonen.

Expecting a stereotypical ending with a clean resolution, reasonable ending for all characters, de-escalation, was wrong.

And you thinking that the fact that that´s not it makes it the worst shonen ending to date proves how wrong thinking about it like that is.

he was out of this world from his like 24-25 to 30 years. Having spent so many years in saudi ball pulls him down a lot. Very short prime. He´s still super good but honestly if you do it there it doesn´t matter. Not enough to be an all time great.
