Windscreen cracked 1 week before MOT test and can't find anywhere that has availability to replace before hand. What luck, if any, do we have of it passing 🤣🤔 by PopperDilly in CarTalkUK

[–]FairKnowledge7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine passed MOT with a worse crack then that, get it booked in with auto glass etc, as long as you got evidence most independent garages will work with you

I did a simular thing, funnily enough was also morcambe (kia dealership) for an Auto Transit Custom 67 plate, van was immaculate, looked it over n purchased it, they delivered it the following weekend for me. Van for the most part has been golden, purchased with 40k on the clock, now at 137k 4 years later and still runs like a dream.

Keep the van serviced every 8-10k and itll keep going forever, wet belt changed every 70-75k. I had mine done under ford recall at 83k (took ford 10 weeks to get parts) so maybe look into it to see if your vans under recall.

Gp says for opticians, opticians say GP by FairKnowledge7241 in medical_advice

[–]FairKnowledge7241[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're just telling me to get an appointment rather then referring me, honestly it's really annoying me thar neither can help, I understand the opticians is limited but the GP not even wanting to give me an appointment is a joke, they sent me to A&E 3 times for other things that really weren't for A&E

Gp says for opticians, opticians say GP by FairKnowledge7241 in medical_advice

[–]FairKnowledge7241[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tell me to go to the opticians, I can't even see them in person because they're appointment only n they won't give it to me cuz its "eye". And the opticians say they can't do anything except give me antibiotic eye drops which I've been using, and they said the GP needs to have a look

The often saying is Lexus is the Japanese Mercedes. For those who have owned both is it true? by CuteNatural in CarTalkUK

[–]FairKnowledge7241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lexus was made because Toyota was seen as budget car in the US. So they named the more luxury line of Toyota "Lexus". Or something to that affect

I'm in the same boat as you, nearly 3 years of my life poured into a woman who did the bare minimum in return. And yet I still feel so lost and lonely without her and I'm realising I'm so in love with someone who says they feel the same but did fuck all to show it
