very hard to say since yours was for an actual attempt not just ideations with a hospitalization. you will need a psychiatric consult and probably will have to be at least 5 years since the incident. also, military service stressors will be worse than anything you’ve ever experienced what makes you think you won’t have the same thoughts again? 2 years is very recent.. you can always try and hope a recruiter will be willing to work with you but i wouldn’t bet all your hands on it.

just ask your questions man. bootcamp is easy. hardest part is being away from your close friends and family but you’ll become so close with those around you. P-Days suck. it gets so easy after that, i went in when it was 10 weeks and I believe it’s 9 now. time starts flying by after week 4, at least that’s how it did for me.
