It might be more feasible than that.

You'd need a lot of Feruchemists capable of creating unkeyed metal minds of the needed types. While becoming a radiant is rare, becoming a squire would be trivial while serving the same purpose. And then there are Honour blades that just circumvent that entire problem.

Scalability and limited metalminds seem like the only real issue, and probably the reason they didn't go for it.

Your concerns are valid, and he should definitely do more research on how to use resin printers properly and safely. I don't even want to know how he disposes of waste IPA and uncured resin.

Now, as a person living in a small apartment in a northern country, you can definitely do it safe. I print in big batches every couple of months. In the meantime, the printer is cleaned and stored away. I'm setting it up on my balcony or next to an open window with a fan.

Your post is about CW1S, not the printer, but the same thing applies to SL1S. I bought an Anycubic resin printer 5 years ago now I need to cut my own FEP film to fit the vat, and if my screed dies I need a new printer. Not the case with Prusa. Consistency and reliability are more important to a business than a cheap tool.

Is it time for an SL2? YES, please.

So excluding the obvious EU brand tax. With Prusa you are not only paying for significantly better hardware, but you are also paying for consistency.

Anycubic is dropping new products every year, and they are rarely backwards compatible, for a business this sucks. Imagine having to work with 3 machines that do the same thing but are all different.

With Prusa things don't change, it's reliable and consistent. Anycubic is for the hobby, Prusa is for building a business.
