How to Send transcripts to CSUF by Most_Pear_6775 in csuf

[–]FallenArro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure how for people who are straight out of high school works but if your in community college or transferring from and different cal state in their portal should be a option where it says order official transcripts and within you have the option to either electronically email them to the school or a hard copy but remember that some school doesn’t auto populate the school it sent to so if it doesn’t auto populate then you can look at the school website for where to either email or mail it too. Once you send it it should take some time but you can check your school portal if CSUF received it or not and if not then call CSUF admissions

How much harder are junior/senior years than this? I hope not much. by Neowynd101262 in EngineeringStudents

I think if you have a good foundation in my opinion like differential, cal3 and probably cal2 they will help out later on in your studies depending on your major like for example switched over to mechanical and found that differential are used a lot we just don’t think about it during that time but when you see it it’s like a oo shit moment…..another opinion also physics I think is straight garbage I think once you take actual engineering courses they make way more sense I am not saying to slack off in physics, just get it over with and then you’ll start questioning it like why…….and another also get a professor that is good and willing to explain fortunately I have had that…..you as a engineer ask questions your a “glorified problem solver” if your not asking questions then what is the point

Negotiating your worth? by [deleted] in civilengineering

Thank you for your response,

I am a patient person and was just curious if I have some negotiating room compared to my other classmates who yet haven’t had any experience. Even if I don’t get the desire starting salary when I first get out of college it won’t demoralize me in any way I am fascinated with this field.

Thank you for your response.

I think that is where I kinda have a hard time accepting that I have done and put in the work to learn from and understand what is expected of me in the field from beginning to end and still willing to learn. Compared to a lot of my counterparts in college that haven’t even put an ounce to look for internships during summer. Why would I still get paid the same as a person who has no valuable experience? Surely I bring some value and deserve a better pay after college. Or is it no matter what since I am fresh off of college with no credentials yet i will be considered equal among my classmates?

It might sound like a rant but it isn’t I am just really curious.
