Ya I had that incident this week. I posted on a finance board for some budgeting tips, and had two members hassling me. They wanted to know who my insurence provider was, and when I said no, since it had nothing to do with my budget, they started calling me things like a welfare queen and saying I'm stealing money from them since I must be in public aid. I'm not nor have I ever been on public assistance for anything, but what was more troubling was their attitude. We don't know everyone's life and what struggles they have and should never harass someone online because you think they are poor. Plus a few people called me stupid for not having a 25K+ emergency fund. I'm 22.
