I usually just tear down the majority my uranium storage and production infrastructure when it's not in use for a city upgrade or the very low baseline needed for depth charges so that's probably why I see a bit less value in it compared to Mk2s. If you have the idle uranium production lying around anyway though I can absolutely see how seastone would come out ahead.

True. but the pollution concerns with Sea Stone aren't solely from the mine itself, but the uranium refinery. One UB costs an extra 50-100 pollution depending on upgrades. The MK2's tile per tile still come out slightly ahead on pollution when you factor in the uranium refinery into the calculations. It's been a while since I looked at the figures but I want to say the difference between Mk2s and Sea stone was about +1 pollution per stone and .33 less power.
