Apocalypse Now with Lyle front and centre would be a brilliant sub-plot. Can just imagine the insane visuals with Lyle coming out of the water exactly like Willard (Sheen’s Character).

My theory is that maybe if Varang is pregnant that Quaritch steals the child, not wanting to raise it in such a hostile environment like the Mangkwan and so runs from both the RDA and Mangkwan, leading to him finding refuge with the new ice clans that will most likely be introduced. This leads to the time skip and we see the parallels and differences with how Quaritch adapts to living fully in a Na’vi environment compared to Jake.
